kopterdoctor Posted February 23, 2008 Author Posted February 23, 2008 Spades No weathering, as a kid I never new how to do that. Streight OOB for the G/B. Rattle Can 101, just like when I was a kid. Steve
mgbooyv8 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Nice one! I wonder when we see those 21CT kits in Europe... Cheers, Peter
kopterdoctor Posted February 25, 2008 Author Posted February 25, 2008 Gloss or Flat what do you guys think? Steve
Texas Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Gloss or Flat what do you guys think? Steve HI It sure looks nice in the gloss but I don't thank the real bird would be that glossy unless your wanting to show a museum display bird. Have you considered a semigloss finish. There was one at our last model meeting in the same markings that was in a flat finish with some paint chips and weathered to look rather dirty and it really looked like a battle weary war bird. Texas
kopterdoctor Posted February 25, 2008 Author Posted February 25, 2008 Texas I with you gloss is not a war bird. I'm going Flat Steve
Spads57 Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Gloss or Flat what do you guys think? Steve Steve , I think you should split the difference go with semi gloss. Regards, Gregory
LSP_Ray Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 I agree with the others, should be semi-gloss at best, or as I call it, "Scale Gloss."
kopterdoctor Posted February 29, 2008 Author Posted February 29, 2008 #3 For the GB Done This has been a fun build I hope everyone has enjoyed Steve
