aviators6
Well guess where this baby's goin'. preliminary test fit indicates it will be a tight fit in to the Hasegawa cowling. not much plastic there already to remove, may have to forgo the cylinder baffles. pushrod tubes are .020" plastic rod cylinder oil lines are .345mm copper fuse wire ignition leads are the supplied .040" lead wire from Buffie's Best

aviators6
One question on the P&R...what type of Grey did you use?...cheers Hi Dave, Mr. Color Lacquer #301, Fs#36081. i believe i've seen that fs number stated somewhere as a match for the gearcase color, it seems to work ok

aviators6
i've added the cylinder head baffles (attached with diluted white glue, my savior) and the wiring harness. the S/P leads were first painted with Mr. Color Burnt iron, then given a wash with Andrea acrylics earth and wood. accessories are next. i may have to do a open cowling, there's just too much here to hide. aviators6
...AND basically finished. accessories added (the mags were a tough fit) the intakes will also take some finesse to fit well. now for the fun part, ie: fitting this beast into the cowling, though i think building a stand and displaying it outside the aircraft will be the wiser choice. (then i'll have to detail the rear)

DMurph
Simply stunning Engine it would be a shame to hide it inside a cowling. Cheers Murph...
