red Dog Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Any one have any experience with these guys? https://www.aladdinmodel.com/product-page/detail-set-for-trumpeter-02272-1-32-f-8e-crusader Been searching for a intake replacement for my next F-8 project. Wonder what is the quality of their stl and if their model comes presupported or not. I'll probably ask before buying but if you guys have experience dealing with them, I'd be happy to know Thanks
LSP_Kevin Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Just be aware that Aladdin Model is a site for hosting STL files from a range of vendors, so they could come from anyone. Their website is a little unclear about that, but their Facebook page makes it obvious. They also recently rebranded to Aladdin Models from Print Replica. Kev red Dog 1
red Dog Posted April 14 Author Posted April 14 Thanks Kev, Yes I realised that browsing further on their site . The F-8 intake is actually the one which was developped by NE resin and shown here on LSP LSP_Kevin 1

red Dog Posted May 6 Author Posted May 6 Thanks Madelf for your input. I figured it out. I was under the impression (I might be wrong) that you had some troubles at the later stage of designing this so I was wondering if you overcame these issues and if the part was good to be ordered?
Hubert Boillot Posted May 10 Posted May 10 I’m a happy customer I do not know about the F8 intake, but the figures I bought were sent as .ctb files tailored for my 3D-printer. Hubert

The issue that I am having is when I print something on my S4U that is over 3 inch long I get some really bad layer lines but I think I got it fiber out but I have been busy working on some other stuff that I just haven't got back to it 1/32 A-6A cockpit for the Trumpeter kit Tony T and TankBuster 2
