  1. Sorry to ask: What means "BIN"? Regards - dutik
  2. Back from Euro Model Expo 2023 I've added some more winged things to the stash: Modellbau König from Germany was there (as always - he is a sponsor of the event). Surprise: A collection of sold-out WNW kits with mangled boxes Owning most of the other kits I added two Snipes and a Camel to my collection. If you can read the price tag - only 75 bucks (Euro) each. The contents are fine, nothing damaged inside the boxes. Fokker and Fighter were regular buys a few days ago. Some HGW sets for some of the kits and new blades for the resin saw. Below are a Fiat CR.42 (and a set of resin wheels on top) and a long sold out V2 on Meillerwagen. It's just for the trailer - I've got a Rheinbote conversion to replace the fat V2 with something much sleeker. Enjoy - dutik
  3. Different here in Germany. Till last year Ebay charged 11%, also from s&h, but had actions to lower the fee. So I had to pay only 8% fee over the last year. Don't know why. Below a number per year, or because I started to sell more ore something else, but Ebay never explained why (and i didn't ask...). There were weekends where sellers had to pay 30% less. Also you were granted to place a number of items for free if you were below a given number of items and sum earned per month. This year Ebay dropped all charges for private sellers. No more fees. But the reason for this generous gesture is a nasty one: The new law from the EU about the obligation to report income on online platforms. All of them - Ebay, Etsy, whatsoever have to report the income of the sellers to the tax offices if they sum up to 2.000 Euro or 30 (or more) items sold. And the tax office will send you a request to pay taxes for all the stuff you have sold at Ebay or elsewere. Nice. NOT. That's where we are today here in Germany and the EU. Regards - dutik
  4. It's just funny to discover such a blunder on the frontpage of a modelling magazine. Happens not too often and has to be shared And my first thought seeing the magazine was: Oh, wait, Eduard joined the 35scale aircraft club too...? Regards - dutik
  5. Well, the latest number of the german modelling magazin "Modellfan", renown for his "Model of the year" award, features a nice typo right at the front page: "New Mig-15bis Fagot in 1:35 from eduard" Upper left corner. Calm down - this is not another venture into 1:35 scale aircraft modelling The article inside has it right: It's a 1/72 scale Mig-15bis. Everything is fine Enjoy! - dutik
  6. Just stumbled at Ebay acrosse a vendor offering 3D printed kits of an 1/32 scale V-22 Osprey and a number of even larger 1/18 kits of the Moskito, Harrier, Super Hornet, Intruder, Goshawk and the Fw-190. Also a good share of sci-fi kits as well as extralarge 1/6 kits to fit to action figures. Black Hawk door someone? Well, nice collection. So who now has the guts and workspace to tackle one of these? Not related to the seller, just watching the wonderful world of Ebay sellers and model vendors. Regards - dutik
  7. Looks buildable if you add a set of wingspars and maybe one or two more bulkheads inside fuselage. A rigid UC might be required given the overall weight of the resin parts. We have here some build up 3D printed AC that required much more work than this beauty. Not to mention the finished HPH models... Don't be shy, the world needs some more finished Buccaneers Regards - dutik
  8. How did you paint this? Looks very convincing! Somehow the nose with the multiple parts, shapes and the nice data placards looks like a masking nightmare when time has come to apply the camouflage color. Regards - dutik
  9. Nice kit, indeed Watch this nice peeled off paint here and there. So I guess you want to foil it too before applying the camo paint...? Duck and cover - dutik
  10. Whoa! Didn't know they also had LED lights in engine and wheel bays like recent showcars Nice photos, nice find! Where is this one located? Regards - dutik
  11. You are right. The inscription on the plate got it right, but the illustration is of the wrong bomb. Regards - dutik
  12. Some more photos of the real deal: Check the differences to the Praha bomb: The square parts at the wing tips, the painted over "hinges" at the rudders/elevators, the "no touch" markings at the tail nd the yellow strip marking for the used explosive. Photos from the swdish robot museum, aka the collection of guided weapons in a very remote swedish small town named Arboga. A little bit different: a HS 239 warhed. Two holes on top and an overall cylindrical shape, compared to the ogival shape of the Fritz SD-1400. The inscription is right, the illustration misleading: This one is just 20 minutes by car away from my home. Enjoy! - dutik
  13. Nice. There is another kit from MPM Hobbies in US, which I have been looking at for a while, but s&h plus VAT adds to much to the final sum (or even more, depends on actually offered shipping options) WITHOUT a cart. Not to mention that our ucrainian fellows need some money much more than the US. Order placed. BTW, if someone is looking for a gaudy painting scheme or just an image of the real thing: This is the one at Praha-Kbely Air Force museum. Regards - dutik
  14. And how about these: Yak-3 , Yak-3 , F2B fish , F2B crocodile Regards - dutik
  15. Are nose-art-kits (Lancasters) allowed? Regards - dutik
  16. What are these things used for? Regards - dutik
  17. Latest addition to the bookshelf (sort of): KLP publishings AEG G.IV book. Splendid! Better than Windsocks "Building the..." books, because KLP has larger photos (and you can enlarge them even more) and a lot of extra tips and tricks. The Windsock books are good too, pointing also out where to add missing details, which steps you might skip because invisible in the end and giving nice painting advices, but KLP is just a tad ahead of them. OK, to be fair: The KLP books are written by nobody less than Karim Bibi Regards - dutik BTW, the KLP books are not as expensive as you might think: Price ist Australian $, not USD, so a third cheaper!
  18. Tanks and other vehicles yes. LSP planes not. Regards - dutik
  19. Just what hit my eyes: Artscale masks for the upcoming A-20 Havoc: Revells Meteor: No close ups or further informations about. Just the box. Tamiya: Nothing new in 1:32 aircrafts. But a very nice Jagdpanzer IV/L70 Alkett in 1/35 (should be much easier to be build up than Tristar or Dragons kits) and a late war Wehrmacht soldiers set that surpasses Dragons Gen2 offerings. Nothing else regarding new kits in 1/32 spotted. Some of the latest 1/32 kits from last year shown, like Italeris F-35, SH Fiat Bicommando and Westland Whirlwind. Also the Tornados and the F-104. As usual a lot of AM for the new kits by the usual suspects, Eduard, CMK, Artscale and so on. Sidenote: The Unimog will rule the year 2023 1/35-wise. We will see different versions from different vendors - Revell, ICM, AK. For Bundeswehr, Middle Asian armies, African warlord versions and so on. Nice. Also two different versions of the Ferret that should make our UK modellers happy. OK, time to build some Havocs and to thin out the stash while waiting for your own copy of 3D printed kits Regards - dutik
  20. @jeroen_R90S Thank you for sharing your view about the AM stuff. The 08/15 and the anemometers are useful for a range of german kits so they are not wasted. There is for sure another C type with an exposed front gun. Your DFW is a nice project! Have fun! A lot of it! Regards - dutik
  21. I did some old fashioned shopping: A kit: Some AM stuff: Rigging line standard size (bottom center) is hard to get these days. I wonder why... Reference books: Next I should buy some canned spare time... Enjoy! - dutik
