There is another slightly unfair thing about WNW's pricing scheme.. I live just over the dutch (ditch in NZish) and I pay the same postage as someone in Mongolia... And as our dollar sinks slowly into the Pacific the price just goes up and up.. sigh... But anyway, I will still be getting one of these eventually to add to the 10 or so in the stash. Beautiful work BTW Guy. Cheers Whinging Warren...

Junkers Ju-87 R2 Trumpeter 1/32.........FINISHED

Looking great so far Andy. I have this one in the stash so I will be watching closely for when I start on wingy things again after my floaty things addiction wears off... -
Sure you have enough extras there?... Will be watching closely Sir...

Mate, it is your model and your time and as long as you are enjoying yourself build it however you like.

I leave of detail if you can't see it.. I don't model for God, I model for me and I only have a finite time on this planet before I have to give up the modelling so wasting that time putting in detail you can't see doesn't make sense to me. Thanks for the very useful detail mate...

Huge, definitely, but a hit I am not so sure at US$249...

That'd be Duellist I presume.. Then you get the sold out W.29 as well. My W.29, and all my other models, got donated to a museum..

I are lurking as well Jerry..

Which New Year?? Just kidding. I Way over my head! You may as well be doing a scratchbuild.. I, being basically slack, would have left the gear up! And used decals for the windows.. Cheers mate Warren- 686 replies

Bloody hell!! That will be huge!! I will stick with my 1/72 one I think.. Iain, I like that EC-121 colour scheme. Think mine might get painted like that as well. Have to find some three views of it. Cheers Warren

Trumpeter 1/24 Messerschmitt BF109G-6 late
wazza21 replied to Sparzanza's topic in Works in Progress
You better go buy some superglue as you will need it.. -
And even more importantly going through a tunnel may cause problems with the tail and rudder in place..

Listen to this man and you will do well. I built this one many moons ago and it is a fine kit, like most of Trumpeter's 1/32 kits, no matter what the Trumpeter bashers say. Looking great so far,' Cheers Warren

Hi Christian. I haven't read any further in the blog after you put the canopy gun position in, but if it hasn't already been mentioned either your position is too big or the location is not correct. Have a look at the edge of the position in relation to the edge of the canopy. The position wouldn't have been offset to the left much as that is where the aircraft captain sits and I am sure he wouldn't want someone crawling over him to fire a machine gun.. Impressive work from a fellow Aussie!

OK. Seems I have finished a number of qualifiers for this GB. Are multiple entries allowed? Anyhoo, here is a Trumpeter F-105G in 1/32 for your perusal.

Hi there. I was asked this on another site and I have uploaded a guide on how to do it there.. but it hasn't been published as yet.. As a quick and dirty guide you scan the kits marking guide into your computer, scale it up so it is a 1/1 scale version of the model, ie if the plane is 299mm long you make the imagine of the plane 299mm long. Then you just print the various plan and side views as many times as you need for the camo (2 for a three colour camo etc) and then cut out the bits you want to paint with an exacto knife. After that you hold the mask against the model and spray or brush away to your hearts delight, if you want a hard edge camp put the paper right on the model. For a soft edged camo hold it a little away from the surface. Always try and spray perpendicular to the surface you are spraying. Any more details I could always answer any questions you may have. Regards Warren
