Doing one myself. As said it is accurate but needs work on some of the details but doable
-
no they are not l was just wondering out loud if l can take the front from a Tan Models F-5B and graft it on to the fuselage of a Hasegawa F-5E to make an F
-
Wonder what aftermarket stuff will come out for the E and later the A/B. In fact come to think about l wonder if it will be possible to swap out the single seat E front with the B front to make an F?
-
Isn't someone is suppose to be doing a F-5A/B in 1/32 scale
l know l read it somewhere but dam if l can find it again
-
If anyone is still looking for the kit, it looks like Hasegawa is going to reissue the kit in May:

I'll check at home but I should be able to help with your missing parts ( have 6 F-5's)

Thanks Don. I have none of the landing gear including the wheels and no canopies. Let me know what you want for them

I have one in my stash. I purchased it from Larry Hawkins before he died. It lacks the under carriage and the canopies. I tried to get replacements but no go. Hoping some will come out with a new tool and l can replace them with after market parts

Honestly the three l wish to see in 1/32 is a Me 410, Val, and a Kate. Russian one for sure but not at the moment

l often wondered if one could graft a Trumpeter fuselage and bits from a revell one to get a better Gr 1/3 or AV-8A?
-
My question is why haven't we seen an reissue? Like it been quite a while since we seen it. l wonder why so long?
-
yeah and getting back on track with that is harder then you think. l know been slacking myself
-
while looking at things of interest l came across this. Little too pricey for my wallet and not sure of the quality but does look tasty

I got the Fujimi 1/48 ah-1S looking at me. Been thinking doing as a IDF cobra so l am watching this with interest

They make money selling their kits in Asia, not the US.
This is true. Someone compared selling kits in Canada vs one city in Japan ( in this case Tokyo ). The population of whole of Canada at the time was 28 million where as the total population of Tokyo alone was 30 million. Get the picture? Even though the United States is a much bigger market then Canada compared to population of the whole of Japan plus the rest of Asia it is still small peanuts. Selling to the rest of the world is just gravy to them

I am going to be interested in how you do the rear fuselage interior and the engine necelles
-
Watch this with interest. l got the 1/72 Academy kit in the stash but as we all know the dihedral on those kits is terrible. The interior lacks detail but this build given me ideas ( like l need more) how to address the defencies of the kit

in Vendors Board

How the progress? Got my eyes on both 109s. I got the verlinden 1/24 set but your instrument panel is much better. Also have a 109E in the same scale on the go and want the panel for that too
