  1. Lars Very nice so far. Yes, would like to see more. Matt
  2. Steve I too wouldn't mind watching this (these) builds. Matt
  3. Alan She looks very nice indeed. It is nice to see the grey scheme for a change. When you take some pics of the finished article, can you do it under natural light - so we can really see the greys to full effect. Not a criticism, just will be able to see her in the best light. Matt
  4. Tracer Looks very nicely done. Do show us the finished article. Will it get much of a weathering? Matt
  5. Steve G Got my two. Have started on the D-11. Lovely detail on the outside, captures the subtlety of the bulges really well. Thanks for the extras for embelleshing my Rutman '152 as well. Am now on the case with the Bentley stuff. Will email when they're on their way. Steve C - The Eagle Editions 190D book is going to be two volumes now. Jerry said that it would be a summer release (I think) at least for Vol 1. Not to forget that pt. 2 of the JaPo 190D book is due soon as well - a great year for 190D fans all round. Matt
  6. Radu I knew it (literally). This is very exciting news for a sad old luftwaffe fanatic. These will sell like hotcakes. Are you going to set it up so that a four engined 'C' can be done? I shall watch this with baited breath. I suppose its too early to venture a price? Matt
  7. They both look very nice, particularly the Caudron. Glad you shared them with us. Matt
  8. Hi Sandro Never too many 109 Builds to watch - a G-10 as well, don't see so many of these. What is 'coke etched'??? Matt
  9. Very nice, I particularly like the treatment of the wings. Matt
  10. Coming along very nicely. Particularly like the engine bearers. Matt
  11. Steve The vac parts look great to me. I always thought (at least in the EE website pic) that the resin versions looked a bit too thick, whereas yours are nice and thin. They'd make a good aftermarket part in themselves. Matt
  12. SG3 If you do get the Rutman set any chance of taking some pics and posting them? Its pretty frustrating not being able to see quite a lot of Jerry's stuff. My feeling with the Revell kit is that there's something amiss with the fuselage. It doesn't seem to fit any of the scale drawings I have. I think it may need the same treatment as Radu did on his Ki-61 vertical and horizontal hacking! After I sorted through the parts, I'm only left with fus, wings, tailplane, nose (though this looks pretty shonky) and the nacelles (also somewhat worrying in outline). LSP Matt - The BV is staring at me right now. Its also looking over at the Revell 110G sitting on the cutting mat. Needed a break from it - will get back to it later, unless Radu churns one out in the interim!!! Matt Low
  13. Something no one else has mentioned are the resin/injected nuts and bolts made by Calibre 35 and Bronco. I've got a couple of packs of Calibre 35s Bolts & Nuts. These come in several sizes. I have 1.5mm and 0.95mm sets. They are pretty amazing! You get 360 individual items: The detail is very high, you can easily see the individual components making up each of the above. Obviously they're designed for 35th armour, but I think they'll do nicely. I know that Bronco do a couple of other items, butterfly wing nuts and butterfly single wing nuts (have seen these in engine cpts on Luft a/c). Links to products: Bronco single wing nuts Allied wing nuts Bronco half round bolts Calibre 35 rivets Calibre 35 nuts and bolts Pricey but the bees knees, I think. Matt
  14. Hi Eduard do interior & exterior photo etch. As Steve said, Rutman does stuff: Detail Set Includes resin cockpit, wheel wells, landing gear and wheels Cockpit Set Resin and photoetch detail set Exterior detail set Includes 2 props.spinners and verticle tail surfaces Resin wheel set Radu is going to do main wheels (see post elsewhere here). Jay is going to do a cockpit - cannot remember if it was for the 110c or g? Can't think of anything else. Matt
  15. Hi Just noticed these on eBay: A-4E Top Gun Tinker Toys! - Twobobs 1/32 Currently selling at US $8.45 . Matt
  16. Many thanks to you all. Hopefully, you'll see the results sometime 'in the works'. Cheers Matt
  17. Hi all Does anyone know, did the Hunter FGA 9 take part in the suez campaign? If so, does anyone have any colour schemes for it. I'd really like to do a Hunter with the yellow/black stripes. Thanks matt
  18. Hi Jerry Very nice Junkers, its going to be another Stuka stunner. Interesting that the camoflage looks like two greens in the first camoflage finished pic you posted (top of previous page) but the latest does look green and brown? I suppose it depends what it looks like 'in person' so to speak and what you are happy with. Matt
  19. Hi Guys I can vouch for the Owl set. Its very simple but really nicely done. This will stand out amongst 190s. Link below to their '32nd resin bits. Owl web pages Matt
  20. Hi all Very glad to be of help - not my personal cup of char (I'm a boring Luftwaffe fanatic!). Nice to see one in 'in the works' though. Matt
  21. Hi all Just noticed this on Hannants web site. Pricey and not my cup of tea but someone may be interested? Avia B.35.I Matt
  22. Hi I've got a few of these, one of which I'm toying with at the moment. It compares well to up-scaled drawings from the Model Art book and (I think) looks much more the part. I suppose the most obvious 'issue' is the rendering of panel lines and access hatches etc. They are deep and quite wide, after a sanding they look a lot better (sharpens the edges of them up if you see what I mean) and after a coat or two of primer and paint they may be OK. Cockpit detail is a bit 'blobby' - I'm trying to put a Cutting Edge one in mine (will need a little fiddling). Canopy (particularly central part) is appalling - too thick and obvious flow lines on mine. Slots, louvres etc need opening up - exhausts are ridiculously narrow about a third of what they should be! I have Moskit ones, but will need work to open up the cowl to accommodate them. Main wheels will be replaced with Aires 109F set - tailwheel not too bad looking. Main u/c leg attachment to fuselage looks terribly weak - though (ironically) probably most realistic rendition in '32nd at least. Maybe I should take some piccies and put this on the works thread. Any specific questions, email me. Matt
  23. Dave Getting close now..... Very much looking forward to seeing it finished. Matt
