very intersting....you should see Tolga ULGUR wip about mk XII upper fuel tank access panel. ... -
Well, no releasing date about SH 1/32 "car door" typhoon but 1/32 Typhoon IB 'bubble top' new tool would be more logical to preserve this two projects ....

Very good job. Any news about 1/32 Special hobby typhoon "car door" ("Hannants future release") ? -
Hello. I just received my set (it's really high quality set). I follow your wondeful built. Your choice is original but not easy because AE-K letters included in DKdecals sheets 48053 seems bigger than standard size . I can't find photos of this plane. DKdecals have probably data but is DK decals still alive ?....

Hi Jef you are right about math. PLusmodel too for 1/35 vehicules. I am sure that 1/32 Willis and kubelwagen will be best sellers for brands that will take the risk.

Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire XIVe Conversion (Laminar Flow Design)
PHBIO replied to Thunnus's topic in Works in Progress
Hi, I really appreciate all your reports (F4U, p47, Tempest....) and i learn a lot by following your posts. I was too busy and missed the sale of this set but for this cockpit, maybe could you waiting for new yahu 1/32 mk XIV dashboard YMA3278 ? -
Very nice and réalistic build. Scale difference between 1/32 and 1/35 stop me for dioramas. Will brands offer some 1/32 scale vehicles (only Jeep Willis and Kubelwagen for example) ?
-
Hi Miloslav, beautiful p47. Is mrp silver a good undercoat? should it be varnished before chipping fluis and camo ? I saw your realistic 1/32 Hasegawa P47 Norma and Mr Gabreski's P47 using hgw rivet sets. Have you tried these sets with natural metal p47 ? thank you again.

for 1/32 scale, Tamiya (all 1/32 series), Zoukei-mura (all SWS 1/32 series), Special Hobby (tempest series) , Great wall hobby (new p40b), give us reference kits . We don't need clones. Priority for allied popular (historical interest, number of aircraft built) ww2 fighters accuracy modern kits: Griffon Spitfire (mk XIV), P38 Lightning, F6F Hellcat, Hawker typhoon, ..... (for P47, Hasegawa is good when you upgrade it with MDC cockpit, Aires engine and wheels bay, Eduard or Barracuda wheels). I want ww2 airplanes that look good (Me 108 that's enough)...... -
F4U-4 Early, Keneth Walsh VMF-222, 1945
PHBIO replied to Miloslav1956's topic in Ready for Inspection
Another impressive masterpiece from Miloslav. "Trumpigawa", "Trumpimiya".... It's the only way to replace small number of new 1/32 models. -
paper kitten... that's hilarious. If diorama is the reason to produce 1/35 and according to the number of 1/32 historical produced kits then it's more logical to produce 4 ou 5 airfield vehicules.
-
Personally I'll boycot this scale. There is no logical reason to propose another large scale. There are few new lsp projects and display consistency is preferable. For the dioramas we just need some popular 1/32 vehicles like jeep willis, kubelwagen, dodge ....

1/32 Special Hobby Hawker Tempest Mk. V - Fairbanks JJ+F
PHBIO replied to Thunnus's topic in Ready for Inspection
Congratulations, build, paint, wheathering, ... realistic tempest. Can engine panels hide the engine with a good fit like p51 tamiya ? -
Original and realistic 'Cadillac of the skies' (Empire of the Sun). What mrp metallic paints are used ?

Miroslav, sorry but blue borders of the HGW US insigna seems "flashy" on screen. I know this color depends on date (red.... mixed blue.... insigna blue). I saw this following colorized photo on net. https://tumblrgallery.xyz/post/8766638.html#gallery-2 Is HGW sure of its choice ? It's just a question, great work + perfect weathering = incredible master piece. one more !
