  1. expecting to receive this kit in a few days, if anyone familiar with it, what are the main " shape accuracy issues" of this classic kit, anyone has compared the proportions with a drawing plan? am I wasting my money and time on this project/kit? lol cheers
  2. Hi Nachtjäger, like said previously, you will need the bulky and asymmetrical cowl from a "G10" or "K" to make a G6AS , AMUR has its conversion but sadly not for 1/24 cheers
  3. HI Mike, these are from a 109 G10 wooden tail which I'm already building "in the works" forum , cheers
  4. Jerry Crandall has asked Galland about it back in their meetings, he said that he order himself to paint his aircraft in the grey scheme because he spent more time over the Channel, Jerry is a member of this forum would be great to hear his account, I made a comparison with my 74/75//6 relics and the only color picture of Galland's aircrafts can see clearly a 75 grey violet on the fuselage, cheers
  5. thanks mate, cheers wings glued now, thanks for watching cheers

  7. thanks MIke, fingers crossed, cheers Thanks Mark, here is the reference I used, actually I will redo it since it is a bit higher than it should, cheers yes the Hasegawa, it is the "K" model downgraded to WNF G10 cheers
  8. started by adding the fuel/arms panel some RLM 66 base fuselage halves glued thanks for watching, cheers
  9. Hii everyone, Going to be building this G10/u4 from which I acquired some wooden parts last year, it was built by WNF in late 1944 or beginning of 1945 and went down probably february-march due to anti aircraft fire. here more info about it given by the seller and his research: The aircraft was Me109 G10/U4 W. Nr. 611008. She was flying a reconnaissance flight over Freyung Grafenau to Schoenberg. Over Schoenberg, she was hit by US FlaK and caught fire. The plane flew towards a house in the woods where it crashed into a boggy ground in front of a forest. The pilot bailed out, but he did not survive. The body was recovered and carted off with to a house in the woods, where he was given a simple funeral by a local woman. The name of the pilot was Feldwebel Hans Helmut Habermehl and was 26 when he died. I am told 1./JG108...but...as it was clearly a machine from Luftflotte 4 (based on markings and type), it is most likely an aircraft on loan from II./JG 52 ( or ex II./JG 53) or from some recon unit under ex-Luftflotte 4. According my documents it could be 2. and 3./NAG 14. Years later, his body was sent to Hofkirchen (military cemetery) picture of the pilot: crash site and scavation: / I finished recently an Eduard 1/48 version for my friend Shawn who has a collection of parts of this same bird to display with. Now it's time to make it again in 1/32 scale and for my own Shawn's relics of 611008 my relics from 611008
  10. congrats, another epic 109 build, what a show! cheers
  11. an interesting wreck but due to its state hard to determinate if it had 02 or just aging and dirt, cheers http://ww2live.com/es/content/world-war-2-wreck-fw-190-f-3-25-stunning-images
  12. this picture is also interesting, not sure if that is 02 or just a weathered aluminium

  20. Hello Peter, seems to me that you have represented the right console for a FW190 A3/4 style, the configuration for a D model is a bit different
  21. I got this set to use in the Revell G6 kit, but I actually installed in the G10 Erla Revell kit and feats, so I wonder if it's correct for a G10? it is way bulky than the Revell kit had, or it had different engine? is the same used in the K? always confused by all these late version lol, cheers
