  1. You can order direct from them. They have reasonable shipping and it does arrive fairly quickly.
  2. https://www.vms-supplies.com/vms-hull-tex-air best surface texture for the scale.
  3. Each resin item would shrink about 3% in every direction so you end up with an object about 91.2% of its original size. Add some compound curves on that and if you try to add that 3% back you have to do it in lots of little slices. It would be extremely difficult to do and the end result probably wouldn't look quite right. 3D scan is an option but that takes some skill, equipment and experience with the resin you will using in the end.
  4. I think you did. I can't remember if the tracking number was the same as they provided. It showed up on the informed delivery service and then took some time to get through customs. It was registered so once it hits some place that scans it, it should easily be found.
  5. I forgot to mention that I received both the C2 and C7 transkits earlier in the week. I haven't had time to look other than a cursory glance at it. It does look quite good. As mentioned above about the decals, they came out before the conversion so I would suspect that maybe those versions are to come later. Also as far as tracking, the label was created quite some time before it shipped or at least got put in the system. I have never bought anything from Mexico before so I am not sure of how their postal system scans things in.
  6. They indeed are selling and their parts are really nice. I purchased the Nesher set awhile back to do the Israeli version. It takes a little bit to get them, but they are worth the wait.
  7. This was the email I received early yesterday morning. I believe Dave and I were one of the first if not the very first people to order. My guess is they finished the C2 and made the parts. Then started working on the C7. This would have allowed them to get the C2 up and available first. Then they can catch up on the C7 making it available afterwards. Regardless, it's not relevant as they both are being made. It just may be a few weeks before anyone else can order a C7 as they get caught up.
  8. Not sure what I was thinking. I got it entirely backward. Thanks for the correction. The Meng is the late season. I should stick to closed-wheel racing, lol.
  9. I did a little diffing. Those intakes were introduced for the British Grand Prix which he won. Most of his wins that year came with the later setup. The spoiler appears to be the very early season at that so it leads me to think it is supposed to be Monaco, which again would be an odd choice. He won the pole but in the rain. He crashed out of the race. So who knows???
  10. The Tamiya is early season as well. The intake goes horizontal and is attached to the intercooler. It's a small slot. The air goes through that, into the turbo, and then back around to the intercooler and then up to the intakes. I would say that they had issues keeping the air cool as the radiators are just forward to that or maybe even getting enough air as that is a tight 90 turn. The latter half of the season the air came directly in from the periscope looking intakes. S27 and MFH both made transkits for the Tamiya kit which may be what you were thinking about. The Meng kit does seem to be a decent representation but the more I look at the kit, the more toy like connections/fasteners I am seeing like the large circle things on the floor pan which is probably what they are using to hold the bodywork on.
  11. Are you referring to the intakes on the turbos? They are on there. This is an early-season version. The vertical intakes that stood out of the side pods came in about halfway through the season.
  12. I was really disappointed in the Meng GT40. It was very toy like as it appeared to be aimed at younger modelers. I really hope they don't go that route with the MP4/4. They are on pre-sale for around $180 from what I have seen. From the photos I have seen so far, it definitely will need some upgrades. Top Studio has been the best at it so far, but their stuff isn't cheap. Between new decals, the kit, carbon fiber, and a top studio detail set you are in the same area as the MFH kit. The only advantage one may have over the other is down to which materials you like.
  13. The chosen schemes are on the box.
  14. Last I had from about two years ago was them still testing the ER2, LR2, and NLOS versions. All would be welcomed as well.
  15. A really quick glance shows that it would need flare/chaff pods along the spine behind the engines, new wings that also have two flare/chaff pods each as well as satellite communication equipment in these little spheres, and several small sensors and antennae in various spots. Most everything else is close if not the same. Maybe they will do a new kit with an extra sprue or perhaps Isradecals will do a transkit. The external fuel pods would be a nice addition as well but not absolutely necessary.
  16. There should be several at least in terms of the avionics. I am sure someone can point to all of it before I get to doing the research.
  17. Basic idea of what is in each kit D E EofW A X X X arms B X pylons/wingtips C X X exhaust/early D X X exhaust/late E X X X hoses F X X X rotor hub G X X wheel hub/early H X X wheel hub/early J X X blades/late K X blades/early L X X X engine M X X X cockpit N X X X exterior/wings P X X X LG/exterior Q X X X glass R X X rotor fold As one can see, only the E's of the World has the B sprue but it also contains everything but the rotor fold and D blades. The EoW kit also has some 3D parts. I will post pics of each sprue Weds or so.
  18. I have all three kits. I can probably take pics of each to show the differences between them on Weds. I was really hoping for them to show some love to Israel in the D but like was mentioned before, the scheme choices in the D and E kits are kind of blah.
  19. I received an email from them asking if I wanted to wait or get a refund. They mentioned there were some production issues which was going to delay shipping by about a month. They also offered to go ahead and ship the other parts of the order. I don't mind waiting for awhile longer as I have waited quite a long time for a good transkit after throwing the Isracast/Revell one against the wall.
  20. If you are leaning more toward what is different between the kits, Takom did quite a few pics of the parts differences on their Facebook page.
  21. Just got an email that they have had a problem with production which will delay shipping a couple of weeks. I didn't email them. They sent that on their own so it looks like that is why they took it down. I noticed a lot of other 3D printed items were taken down as well.
  22. I am in the same boat, but we shall see I guess. I have ordered decals from them before so they appear to be a reputable company. I hope they just had an overwhelming response.
  23. The conversion kits are now gone off their website and facebook. Not sure if that is good because they were so popular or...
  24. I may be able to help you both. I had purchased an extra G by mistake. I have been wanting to make Little Patches for quite some time. If you both can PM me what parts you need from the G and F, I can let you know what if I can spare those for a reasonable price.
