  1. Will do. I drew up my own because I was under the impression Ronin wasn't re-releasing his set.
  2. Yeah, I've got Oz's AC in there. The Draken birds are on the list of future projects. I have really enjoyed putting these sets together. It was a lot of work – tons of research, frustration and now joy. I only intended to do a set for NZ6206, but my enthusiasm got the better of me The sets cover; NZ6201 NZ6202 NZ6204 NZ6205 NZ6206 NZ6209 NZ6212 NZ6213 NZ6214 NZ6215 NZ6216 NZ6217 NZ6218
  3. The artwork for my 1/32 A-4K decal sets is now complete. I am hoping to have these available for sale in the very near future (NZ initially). Completing the decal placement guide is all that is holding the release back. There are 13 different sets, each representing one of the remaining single seat airframes. So the buyer will be able to chose the specific aircraft they wish to model. I have captured the nuances between the individual airframes as they weren't all identical. Decals are laser printed on ultra fine decal paper and the detail is sharp (sample image below is downsized to protect my assets) and you will be able to read most of them once on your model. I will also be offering them in 1/48. All of the sets out there, by other manufacturers for the A-4K, that I could find are lacking accuracy. Just one example is the typeface the RNZAF used on the serial number of NZ6201. It's not the same as the typeface used on the other airframes.
  4. P-H-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C-! Besides the amazing finish you've achieved, I love your weathering of the hot section.
  5. Beautiful work! I've got one in my stash that I've been contemplating making a start on. I think I will be getting the aftermarket rotor fold set (once I've sold a kidney, lol) because I'm rapidly running out of room to display my builds.
  6. Not sure yet Anthony. I'm working on a set for NZ6206 (my current build – no pilot name) and NZ6209 flown by FLT LT Bethell for another modeller, so will be adding his name. I was thinking of maybe offering decal sets with the aircraft specific serials, pilot's name if applicable, as per the customer's specific request, instead of sheets containing all of the serials etc
  7. I'm currently working on a set of decals for the overall green scheme that the A-4K's wore at the time of their retirement from the RNZAF. I may offer them for sale at a later date.
  8. I also thought the original looked fantastic! I look forward to seeing the results this time around too.
  9. What a beaut! I've got one of these in the stash, but I'm not brave enough to tackle it yet.
  10. Thanks guys. Click a link to my WIP for those that are interested http://kiwimodeller.com/index.php/forum/38-follow-as-i-build/32247-trumpeter-1-32-tbm-3-avenger?limitstart=0
  11. Hi Anthony, please add me to the list as a possible. Thanks
  12. Very nicely done. I love what you have achieved with the weathering.
  13. Thanks for all of the comments guys. I'm glad you like her. I wasn't aware that it was commercially available. Do you have a link to it by any chance?
  14. Thanks guys. She was a really enjoyable kit to build. Can't think of any major dramas. Took me just under 4 months to complete. I've just started on a Trumpeter 1/32 A-4F Skyhawk which I'm building to represent an RNZAF A-4K. Need a break from the pacific camo scheme for a while after completing the Tamiya F4U-1A before the Avenger. Would like to build the 1/32 Dauntless in an RNZAF scheme somewhere down the line though.
  15. Hi guys, here's my latest completed build. The RNZAF operated the TBF, not TBM, but with this kit being my only option, I decided to finish it in RNZAF markings regardless. I used custom mixes of Tamiya acrylics for the camo, Montex vinyl masks for all of the markings, watercoloured pencils, oil washes, Ammo enamel washes and AK Interactive pigments for the weathering. I replaced the .50cal with a Master Models brass barrel.
  16. Watching this with interest. My last completed build was also an RNZAF Corsair
