Hello folks, After a month and a boat load of cash I got my 1/32 and 1/48 F-4E 57 FIS decals. I would love to see some pictures of weapon loads and under belly pictures of these E models. The pictures I’ve seen look as though these birds where clean. Would it be possible that the A/C in the mid 80’s used the AIM-9L’s?

Have you ordered a set and put digital calipers on them to verify? This might be a dead giveaway. Or try swapping around your parts for their parts to see if they mate up?
Years ago I remember a thread coming up about Rhino and DMold Phantom intakes were the same. I ordered both sets and did a test fit. To the naked eye, they looked identical. But I could see the difference once I started fitting them to the plastic parts.Very good point. I also remember the whole intake scandal. I guess you’re not allowed to produce a correct conversion of something if someone else does one.

Yeah, you may need to do some scratch building or 3D print it if you have the ability. I’ve never seen a AM version of it.

If you can , check out the isra decal F-16C/D book. They have some good pics of the PP pod.

I think you can modify the 1/32 Tamiya HTS pod to look like the PP pod. I believe the IAF uses them on their F-16’s.
