  1. Hi Matt, cheers for the link I hadn't seen that before, but reading through there are a few kits there I would love to have a go at! 1/32nd C-47, F7F Tigercat and RB-57F Canberra! Maybe one day?? Regarding the detail parts, I'll be doing everything from scratch so I wouldn't buy them in the first place, cheers though!
  2. Not quite sure, ideally wanted a list to scroll through and see what took my fancy! I really want something different from the 'norm'. I quite like WW2 twin engine bombers, so I've been eyeing up the Invader etc on Combats site! Cheers for the link, You've got me thinking about making my own, it's just the time of making the aircraft in balsa! I'm sure I could do it though.
  3. Brilliant, I've also got a large(ish) vac on the go because of certain members Look forward to seeing this unfold I've thought about getting the Lanc but space is an issue at the moment, so maybe next year... Here's my build http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=41933
  4. Stunning! I love this little Migs!
  5. Afternoon all. I'm having a bit of a frenzy with vacform kits and urging to buy another. I know 'Tigger' sells them and Combat Models, but are there any other companies out there that do any? I'm looking for 32nd kits ideally... Ta all, Radleigh.
  6. Cheers Iain, I'm going to go for the Dauntless, hopefuly pick up a cheap Trumpeter one soon!
  7. Thanks all, this is my second vacform kit, my first is still a WIP too, a quick photo for all. It's a 72nd scale Sea Wolf. Untitled-11 by Rainbow 1984, on Flickr I couldn't resist yesterday, was a nice day so I set about starting this although my plan was not to just yet. The moulding is great, fuselage all sanded and fits together a treat, the nose is slightly bowed but thats not an issue. I just cut the wings out to see how big this thing is, it's sat next to a roll of 1" tape for size but measures in at just over 2' wide Granted not as big as some vacs on here though! Regarding what aircraft I'm doing, unsure on reg but I'm going for a Costal Command scheme with a lifeboat slung underneath. I'm going to carve a boat from balsa and then vacform it.... hopefully can arrange something with Tigger for that. MB9T3013 by Rainbow 1984, on Flickr Brilliant, thanks mate
  8. Only took this one, I really need a wide angle lens MB9T2851 by Rainbow 1984, on Flickr
  9. Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. After speaking to a few guys at SMW I decided to join up. I aquired this kit from John Wilkes ('Tigger' as I'm sure many know him on here) with plenty of scratch building stuff from Telford. It's going to be a slow start, especially with Christmas around the corner etc! Anyway, here's some photos. Johns done me quite a few spares of the clear parts just incase I screw up! (..there are more wing sections/cowlings I just didn't photo them) http://www.flickr.com/photos/radders84/8192036179/'> http://www.flickr.com/photos/radders84/8192036179/'>MB9T3002 by http://www.flickr.com/people/radders84/'>Rainbow 1984, on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/radders84/8193123182/'> http://www.flickr.com/photos/radders84/8193123182/'>MB9T3003 by http://www.flickr.com/people/radders84/'>Rainbow 1984, on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/radders84/8193122974/'> http://www.flickr.com/photos/radders84/8193122974/'>MB9T3004 by http://www.flickr.com/people/radders84/'>Rainbow 1984, on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/radders84/8192035551/'> http://www.flickr.com/photos/radders84/8192035551/'>MB9T3008 by http://www.flickr.com/people/radders84/'>Rainbow 1984, on Flickr
