  1. They mention it can be purchased there so that makes sense.
  2. Talk about timing... Tom Anyz put up a post 12 minutes ago for a new product he has.
  3. Molotow Liquid chrome. Best polished metal look is polished metal. Chuck aluminum tube in a Dremel and polish 'til it looks like chrome and replace the oleo from the kit.
  4. Thanks to all for the info provided. Kevin, all emails kicked using the one on their page... and correcting the .con to .com So, site issue or OOB... dunno.
  5. To be honest i can't remember the last time i was here, even to lurk. I can put most of the blame on FB simply due to ease of use. Having said that I remember this is a great source for large scale info so I seek any help that can be offered. I am building the aircraft in the foreground of the photo below and while my goal is not to a 100% conversion from a C to an A, I'll be happy to get some of the major components correct. This will go into an exhibit at the 9/11 Tribute Museum in NYC. GT Resin is no more since the email i sent this AM came back as a non-existent domain. They makexxx, made, an NSI small intake mod, GTR32061, for the 1/32 Tammy F-16C. I need one... more want than need since I can get by with the kit intake. So, if you are F-16 nut and have one and can part with it... let me know. If you know an f-16 nut that might have one, let me know. If you are in a group that may have one of these people, let me know. If you know the go-to group for this kind of F-16 stuff, please let me know. Has anyone ever seen a vertical stab replacement that has the elongated ridge along the base? Or seen someone replicate it somewhere. I have ideas how to do it but if someone else has already gotten it done… I have no pride and will steal the idea. After all, it’s for a good cause.
  6. Thanks for the comment all.. I do appreciate them. Hiya Jerry. Well it's good to be here. I haven't posted here since the 1/24 Fw 190D-9. Seems like a life time ago. It's kind of nice holding the parts in my hands instead of tweezers all the time. I could get used to this large sclae stuff. I already have a new bookcase just waiting to be filled.
  7. It has been a very long time since I have posted here, although I do come often and lurk in the background. I have made an extremely rare foray into the realm 1/32 scale models. I scored a Hasegawa 1/32 Ki-61 Tony for my B’day last month. I am kind of stuck now that I am getting close to painting since brush skills are worse than my “tight, irregular, fairly hard edge” airbrush skills… which ain’t so good either. I am thinking of using a friskit stencil made from blow ups of the instruction sheet diagram. I may give the airbrush a practice whirl since after all, I am thinking in terms of 1/48.
  8. Thaks for the comments guys Smokin' don;t you mean de-de-de-de-deja vu Wingman... the thought crossed my mind... as did the 1/285 version
  9. Back in March when I posted my 1/24 D-9, I figure that may well have been the only opportunity to post here. Since then I decided to do this a/c in all scales. I have just finished the final build of the set, the 1/32 RoG D-9. I sure do like working with the larger scale but unfortunately the big bites they take out of display space will sadly limited my sorties into this scale. and finally, the finished project.
  10. Jeff, She's a beauty. The finsish is very well done. Shoudl look great when you are done. And I shudder anytime I have to move mine. The LG is wobbly enough oob but through in that brick of resin from the Verlinden set.... it's a wonder it stays up at all.
  11. Unfortunately Contact Resine, for some reason, did not include a tail wheel in their set... just the main wheels.
  12. Looking through some of the websites I used as references I came across this photo, interestingly enough…from a kit review on this website. It show the gear door that Trumpeter used for the molds. And as long as the effort is being made to make nice Am upgrades… can someone please make a nice tail wheel. While mine is convincing… I’ll buy the right one when it is available. http://www.largescaleplanes.com/reviews/Ki...0d/fw190d9.html
  13. Nice looking stuff Steve... glad to see some AM stuff for the this kit. But why did you have to wait until I was done with mine?
