Harold
Now if we can get an Aires cockpit. Or at least some correct A-6E GRU-7 seats. Harold? HA! Chuck My seat is so far from completion, Aires or another resin popper will have one done before i can get mine finished.

otis252
Harold, I'm afraid we won't be seeing a cockpit for the big Intruder from Aires. Been out for a while now, with nothing seen. Just working on those seats my man. Chuck Harold

True detail may be the company to do GRU-7 seats, and if i'm right, they both belong to Squadron. However, i dont want to stop Harold ! It isn't anything I have ever seen in an A or any other airframe. Edited July 12, 2016 by Harold Zero77 and Luca

Yes, i know, but at least they made a cockpit, and as True detail is a sister company of Avionix, and as they often make seats, i just thought it would be possible they make a GRU-7 somedays. I think you make a seat for the A, isn't it? I will have to order one... Harold

Luca
thanks Harold. Your GBU-5s works for the A-6E version too?
ziggyfoos
Your GBU-5s works for the A-6E version too? You'll want GRU-7 for the A-6E, the GRU-5 was the original early seat in the A-6A. Again I'm not aware anyone making a correct aftermarket 1/32 A-6 GRU-7. There's been some other threads on LSP regarding the seats that may be useful for you: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=58659 http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=55344 http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=47922 http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=48964 http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=66847 PS. It's GRU, not GBU Edited April 26, 2017 by ziggyfoos Harold and Luca
Starfighter
Again, the Quickboost GRU-7s with modified pull handle & cushion is all you need for an A-6E. Any other GRU-7 should work with the same modifications. Luca
