Menelaos
Folks, you'll call me crazy...but well yes I'am !! I started again rebuilding the next huge 1:18 F-104G kit... this time as the double seater TF-104G... well there's a huge amount of world to be done... wish me luck... I first compare the TF palns scaled up to the 1:18 with the one seater and the kits fuselage... Edited October 2, 2018 by Menelaos
Menelaos
then I opened the room for the second cockpit: The landing gear retracts backwards and its bay sits much backwards in relation to the fighter Version (glue the bay inverse) The blue region have to be closed and the red one opened

johng
Another great project, Menelaos. I love your work with these 1/18th prebuilts. Are you ever going to tackle a WWII aircraft?

johng
OK, I understand. Modern jets are much more of a detailing challenge as you have clearly shown. Your cockpit work is amazing! I've taken on the task of improving the 1/18 262 from Admiral. Not as good as the 21st plane, but I got it first and it needs the most work. Finished the pit awhile ago and posted pics on this forum. Started work on the fuselage but still have a long way to go. Real life keeps intruding. Your projects have been an inspiration.
