HL-10
I've just dug my Matchbox Puma out of the stash and the decals are completely wrecked:( I am looking for RAF markings for her when she wore the grey/ green camo. Any ideas where I could find some? Many thanks, Angelo. Out2gtcha

TonyT
Dependant on the version you want to build you want to buy the new Revell version, although it looks totally different on the box it includes the version you have but has the later polyv intakes improved seats and load pole etc in the box. And by the way, I also worked on Puma Though no RAF decals in the box. This will help correct a few bits on the kit. http://tedtaylor.hobbyvista.com/72-matchbox-puma/page-72.html This is me in a past life hooking up a load during disaster relief at Wells Next To The Sea Edited September 25, 2017 by TonyT
TonyT
Sea wall repair with sandbags, I think Dave Gayton took these. Edited September 25, 2017 by TonyT
TonyT
XW200 on the football pitches, we were working out of a couple of Quarries outside the town and at lunchtime the cabs would return, pick us all up and fly us all down to Wells, we would then leave the cabs on the football pitch and all go the pub for lunch (Lord Nelson) We came back one afternoon to find all the local kids playing in the Pumas, bare in mind they had very pistols etc and were live helicopters, we had to put a guy on them after that to keep the locals off. There would be about 6 helicopters lined up on the pitch, Wessex and Pumas. Edited September 25, 2017 by TonyT
TonyT
XW202 having a tail rotor grease, note the internal ferry tank and on both shots how dirty the tail got from exhaust staining. Edited September 25, 2017 by TonyT

otis252
Is that kit still available anywhere? Thanks. Chuck
Dave Williams
The last RoG release with the German Bundespolizei markings should still be available. Unfortunately, I think the RAF markings were only in the original Matchbox boxing and a special RoG Tigermeet boxing. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/120924-revell-4499-sa-330-puma-tigermeet Note that the Revell reboxes have all of the original Matchbox plastic, with additional new sprues with things like the flotation bags, intake filters, etc. You just need to find the RAF decals.
