AircraftInPixels Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 (edited) 3DP Canopy frames with precut acetate panes, with tools to precisely trim the windscreen windows. The late version set includes a clear printed armored glass panel. While it appears frosted in the picture, it can be easily polished to high clarity. Sets include a forming tool for the curved upper canopy glazing. Clamp the blank between the top and bottom mold shells and heat. It's made of material that can be safely baked or boiled up to 300°F / 150°C, but in actual practice, successful forming occurs at lower temps, for instance, boiling water. The late set includes a tool for holding the armored glass for polishing. The Sliding side windows run in tracks and can be positioned open, closed, ar anything in-between. Separate hood handles included. Modeler supplies the rod. .6mm brass tubing is suggested, but many materials will work. geedubelyer Posted March 3, 2024 Posted March 3, 2024 Wow! This is amazing What a fantastic way to tackle the glazing allowing for impossibly thin glass. Excellent AircraftInPixels 1
