I got the PCM and 21st century ones with the resin improvement sets. So I was not in such a 'hurry'!

Agreed! I think there's quite a few of us in that same boat. Time and circumstances are starting to take their toll.

I agree that the modelling companies are far behind in wing fabric detail.  The Kotare Spit wasn't bad...   But this is Italeri.  They have a reputation for mediocrity going way back.     But they have always been the ones to kit Italian planes that nobody else would.  So...   expect to do some of that modelling stuff.  

 

Not everyone can produce fall-together kits like big T.

I wonder why nobody mentioned the recent Revell 1/32 Hurricane IIB. Best rendition of fabric on a plastic kit. Bar none.
