Jay, Brian the light weathering sounds good. I'll give it a try. There's still alot of plumbing that will be added so the engine will have more depth than it does now.

Here's more of the engine. It might be hard to make out but a nice effect that came about accidently was that I tried RLM 70 as the dark green on the near wing and I didn't like the way it looked. I sanded it down but left some which shows through the lighter green and makes for a nce pre-shade effect.

Great work Bill. The engine is simply awesome...well worth any effort.

 

The painting looks a corker so far. Such a great looking scheme. I think the Theatre markings look especially realisitc and 'sprayed to scale' as though you had Radu's Shink-o-ray for the weekend.

 

I saw all the detail in the wheel wells but ah :) you gunna kill me....the holes for the wheel well buldges B)
