Hey gentlemen I have a question, can I use MRP paints as my cockpit interior base color and then use enamels to brush the details or do I have to use another acrylic type paint to use my brushes to detail the control surfaces and buttons and wiring...etc?  First time using MRP,  I have been a die hard Model Master Enamel user for years. Thank you for your help.

That sounds great!!! Thank You. I just ordered $200.00 worth of MRP paints. I have heard so many great things about these paints and the great thing is, They are AIRBRUSH READY!!! No mixing, no fussing. I still have a lot of Testors Model Masters enamels and Id like to still use them. Thank you, Im looking so forward to spraying these colors.

MRP are lacquer. As a general rule, you can use any kind of paint ( lacquer, enamel, water-based acrylics) OVER lacquer.
But doing the reverse - lacquer over enamel- can lead to catastrophe.

In any case, test first.
