Alex Posted January 31, 2021 Author Share Posted January 31, 2021 It's wicked cold heah in Boston (as the natives say), so I've had plenty of indoor time to work on this. I literally *just* wrapped this up - pictures are of the starboard side only because the Krystal Klear windows on the other side hadn't dried completely yet! I guess it's technically not 100.0% done - I have some superfine monofilament on order that I want to try out for the antenna wires. This is quite a nice kit overall (thanks to Kev for pointing me at the Revell option). I'm going to try and locate another one for the stash so I can do it in a civilian livery one day. As I mentioned before, some limited scratchbuilding of things like landing gear doors could make it even better, so maybe I'll take a crack at that on the next one too. One nice feature of 1:144 is that I don't have to locate 18 inches of open shelf space to park this thing now. So that's my detour complete - tomorrow I'm going to attack the wheel bays on the P-51...
