LSP_K2
To one degree or another, many of the photos I have, show a fairly large smooth area on the backs of the exhaust guards, so last night I cut some .010 pieces to represent these. Once faired in with some surfacer, and casting texture added to the surrounding areas, it should look great. Once my Waldron replacement punches arrive, I'll rebuild the lifting lugs, then get ready to install these and the mufflers. LSP_K2
Wow, real sorry to hear that, Ray. Sounds worse that my two fractures, for sure.
LSP_K2
Idler wheel track contact surfaces all polished up now and waiting for paint (and a wee bit of mud). All of the road wheel pairs will need the same treatment as well. Greg W, LSP_Ray and mustang1989
LSP_K2
Glamor shot of the engine deck. just a bit of tweaking here and there and they'll be ready to glue in place. Upper hull deck is just sitting in place, as it really needs to remain off until upper and lower hulls are joined. LSP_K2
Rear of mufflers now also have casting seams. One small piece broke off, but I'll be correcting that soon enough. LSP_Ray and mustang1989
LSP_K2
My Waldron replacement punch set arrived today, so that really pleases me. This was my first ever experience with Kitlinx, but certainly won't be my last. Greg W and mustang1989
LSP_K2
I had previously noted that the road wheels have a depression around the entire periphery of the wheel. I'd mistakenly thought this only applied to the inner wheels of the pairs, but it's actually all of the wheels. Liquid putty will take care of this rather handily though. I addition, all of the wheels have a mold parting line at the outer edge of the rim that needs to be eliminated, but that's some quick work, even for 18 road wheel pairs. LSP_K2
I also got the quote for the acrylic cover today; $200 if I go 1/8", $240 if 3/16". I'll probably go with 3/16" and an acrylic mirrored back segment. Rick Griewski

And glass is not going to wobble about so much Richard

Also, once placed (wherever), it'll seldom, if ever, get moved.

It's that top piece 16" by 24" I would be concerned about. In 3/16" it shouldn't bow too much though Richard LSP_K2

LSP_K2
All remaining needed supplies for this project ordered today (from Kitlinx). Sprue was out of about half the stuff I needed, plus Kitlinx was actually cheaper anyway.
