Kahunaminor
Fellow modellers, May I present my latest off the bench, the 1/72 Airfix Beaufighter TFX. Built for our club's (Illawarra Plastic Modellers Association) inaugural "Airfix Cup", to be held in conjunction with the NSW Scale Model Show. The details of the club and competition can be found here: http://ipmamodels.net/IPMA-Events.html It is the first 1/72 scale kit I have built in too many years to count. The contest builds were limited to a modified OOB ruling. So limited AM to be allowed. I did add the Eduard Brassin 1/72 Beaufighter wheels, Super Fabric belts and rescribed some non existent ID lights. I used Uschi superfine rigging wire for the antenna. On to the pictures: Thanks for viewing and regards, mikeblack, MikeC, Tony T and 2 others
LSP_Kevin
Looks awesome, Kent! I take it this is a new-tool kit? Doesn't look like the Airfix Beaufighter I remember trying to build as a kid! Kev Kahunaminor and Jeff

Alburymodeler
If they scaled this up to 1/32 I would be very very happy. It shows the enormous benefits of laser scanning for design, and the moulding is first class. Tony T
