Found a bit of time to do some more work on the wings. They are now ready for the big black star insignia, which I'll try using masks rather than the decals.

 

 

 

Then back to the fuselage, mask and paint.

Sprayed the black star insignia on the wings. Next finish the fuselage and assemble the wings.

Bottom wing on, now the tricky top wing. Glued the struts to the bottom wing, then dry fitted the top wing on and used some elastic bands to keep them together. In the box she goes and hopefully the struts will dry nicely in position. Then the top wing will come off again and we can start the cross strut rigging.

Here we go rigging, rigging and more rigging, don't hate it like some, but I am soooo slow at this. Better start another kit in parallel. Maybe the WNW W29 in my stash. Hardly any rigging required.
