Max, yeah definitely.

Just deciding which bird to do... :hmmm:

I'm currently leaning towards my Revell FW190..

But I also have the Spitfire bug now, so I could dig out one of the 10 or so I have in the stash!

[edited for spelling mistake]

Good man!  :clap2:

My double trouble is complete!

Here's the Mk.I

No air brush was used! All hand painted. I did the serial number freehand but got the 'A' from an Xtradecal sheet of RAF letters.

For comparison, here's the real thing.

Things I like about my builds.

The exhausts. I was pleased with the mixture of paints I concocted - Tamiya X34 and X10.

Most of the aftermarket stuff - the Barracuda cockpit details, the Eagleparts Rotol spinner and propeller blades, the Quickboost exhausts and both sets of wheels (Eduard and Barracuda) in particular.

The Yahu Instrument Panel was superb too.

Downers.

Losing the transparency spruce and hence not being able to put the small 'bubble' just behind the radio mast on the mark II.

Not quite matching up the camouflage and markings on the mark I.

Overall I really enjoyed building these kits. Yes, I threw quite a lot of aftermarket at them but the base kit was pretty workable.

I am pleased with the results but can see many areas for improvement on subsequent builds.
