blackbetty Posted December 16, 2014 Author Posted December 16, 2014 thats the decals i´ve got and the reason i am doing a seawolf still not decided on the model. i have now clicked through a lot of pics, but its really hard to identify if there is a B or C pictured # 312 is a C after the aircraft list, but i have yet to find a pic of it.
thierry laurent Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Too bad the Seminar UH-1B kit seem to have disappeared as this would have been THE solution...
thierry laurent Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Hi Karl, This kit is not well known. The MRC kits were better but it was the only B ever released and this is not a bad kit. It is in the LSP database: http://www.largescaleplanes.com/kitdb/details.php?kit=1665 hth thierry
blackbetty Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 thanx thierry. i will stay with a C model i think, or does anyone have a cobracompany set i can copy (scratchbuild)
BloorwestSiR Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Nice progress Karl, I'm working on the same kit but just as a regular UH-1C. When you get to the IP panel, the Eduard instructions show you where to remove a bit from the edge. This allows the windshield to fit properly. I noticed it but forgot to do it until after I assembled the fuselage together. Carl
blackbetty Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 i wondered about that and cut the piece off anyway- thanx for the heads up. i am following what you do closely
