Hello All,

Yes, this build still lives!  Life got in the way for a while and bumped the build to the back burner.

Now that I have some free time again, I've started back up with painting the beast.  I laid down a coat of Tamiya primer:

I painted the nose flat black and masked it off then painted the bottom with Gunze H311 Camouflage Grey.  I masked off the wheel wells and painted them with Tamiya white primer, love this stuff great coverage with a single coat:

Then started on the topside.  I laid down some test patches of the colors I plan to use: Gunze H303 Green, Gunze H309 Dark Green and a Gunze mixture for the tan.  I'll definitely have some touching up to do as I add the other colors, still working on the mastering of the freehand camo painting.  It's a fine balance between paint consistency and air pressure!

More to come as I ramp back up on this build.

Thanks for checking in.

SCAT is wearing its colors!

Was able to get the greens laid down on the build:

I have a few touch-ups I still need to do, and once those are done, I'll let it dry for several days before applying the gloss coat.

Next up will be wrapping up the armament and pylons.

Making head way!

Thanks everyone for the kind words.  :)

Made some progress the last couple of days.

I've painted and decaled the missiles and painted the pylons:

And I've applied several coats of future:

I'll let the gloss coat dry for a couple of days before starting the decaling process.

Thanks for checking in.
