Uncarina
Thanks so much to everyone for the kind comments! The most I can aspire to is to motivate others to build this kit for themselves, and though it is a little epic at times (size, number of parts, etc), it is a very rewarding kit of an airplane that just looks cool. Uncarina
Iain, Thanks! Based on your recommendation I bought a bottle of Quickshine and am looking forward to giving it a go. Just a little more painting first... Cheers, Tom
Iain
Oooh - crikey - hope you get on with it then! Build in thin layers until you get the shine you're after. Iain Uncarina
Uncarina
A little update today: I added "The Spook", touched up some paint, and started to apply the mouth markings. This is tricky because of the compound curves. Cheers, Tom Uilleann, lawman56, krow113 and 1 other
Iain
Looking brilliant! I think The Spooks nose art really suits the Widow... Iain Uncarina
Uncarina
Iain, thanks! I absolutely agree, and I'm still curious why no one released decals in this scale. I found port and starboard photos on Google without much trouble. At least it's forced me to try something new by using masks! Cheers, Tom

LSP_Paul
Very Nice Tom!The cool part is that you have Unique Nose Art with no AM available. I've been waiting for MONTHS for word on my nose art that was supposed to be be "no problem" to get done for my B-25, I may need your contact info for the guy who did yours. IM me later if you have time? ThanksPaul Uncarina

David Hansen
Are the landing gear, spinners and canopy just temporarily installed for photography purposes? -d-
Uncarina
David, Yes, they are. The canopy is temporarily installed to mask the cockpit, and I want to make sure that it fits better when I install it for good! I also have a mudguard to put on behind the nosewheel. Uncarina
Small update so far, but may get some more done this weekend. I added the mouth and finished the underside stars and bars. Next up, the fine detail for the nose art, finish the stars and bars, then ready for some gloss! Cheers, Tom lawman56 and krow113
