Gauge1
This is the picture that started the idea. Well, it is official. After initial positive responses to the idea of this build, I have just cut off the wing mount tabs from the fusalage and have effectively ruined my model. Looks like there is no turning back. Doug has spent over $2k on the kits for these wagons and I get the pleasure of building them. It think it is time for me to kick in some funds, so I'm donating my B-17. Yeah, this is gonna be a great train!
Guest Nigelr32
This is gonna be something to watch!! Remember, you won't need to fit the other wing stiffener parts which glue onto bulkheads 4 and 5. You've no doubt seen this restoration thread.http://www.warbirdinformationexchange.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=40406 There are some really good shots there with the wings off. Will you be selling on your engines and cowlings? Edited October 19, 2013 by Nigelr32

Sparzanza
Better with a B-17 on a train than snakes on a plane, am I right? Showtime 100
