coogrfan
A question for anyone who has this kit in their stash: is this how the left front fuselage is supposed to look or did I buy a damaged kit?
LSP_Ray
Hmmm...I don't have the kit but from the photos it sure looks like a short-shot fuselage.

DaneBramage
Did you read the instructions carefully? Did you get that on ebay?
Juggernut
Yep, sure looks like a short-shot fuselage half to me. Are the edges obviously broken/sharp or are they smooth and rounded? If they're smooth, rounded with no stress lines in the plastic; that usually indicates a short-shot part.
DaneBramage
Short shot= not enough plastic in the mold or plastic cooling too soon in the mold before the mold completed? (This is a question)
LSP_K2
Short shot= not enough plastic in the mold or plastic cooling too soon in the mold before the mold completed? (This is a question) Yes, insufficient pressure to push the elasticized plastic all the way into the furthest recesses of the mold.
coogrfan
The edges are smooth, so I'm guessing this was short shot. Any thoughts about the best way to go about remedying this? Sprue goo and/or Milliput, perhaps?
