Erwin
Hi all, I've practiced a lot on the various methods explaind to me how to make the 'fabric'. I decided to use fine plasticsheet to make the frames. This is the result so far. And I'm rather pleased the way it turned out Once painted it will look different...and good I hope

MikeMaben
Hey it it's not too late Erwin, the ribs don't go over the forward part of the wing (leading edge). Mike a b e n ...if you can remove those, makes less work too.
Erwin
Mike, Thanks for the help...but this pic of a Mk1 fabric proofs otherwise ?? Finding good pic of a fabric Mk1 is very hard.Even on the internet.I'm making my conversion with only 4 pic at home. Why did Belgium had to buy the fabric Mk1 in the first place.A metal winger would have made my live much easier
Hacker
fate does not want to make one's life easier. Otherwise life would be boring hacker

Erwin
...underside. This ends the most difficult part of my project. From now on it's just OoB build to complete the kit.
Erwin
A good thing about this kit is that the fuselage can be build without having to add the inner detail first. I decided not to show the engine in the kit. I will build it and display it next to the model with the rotol prop. That's my idea anyway This Hurricane build is to capture the overall look, not to show detail.
ChrisS
Erwin, Weren't you just telling everyone in a thread a while back that you couldn't scratch build? hmmmm....I see you might have the bug now...easier than you thought right!?!?!?!
