Does anyone know how I can edit the 'subtitle' of this thread?

Yep....................

Just open the 1st, starting page of the thread of yours that you want to change the Topic Title or Topic Description...........

Then click the "Edit" button for that 1st post; then click "Use Full Editor", and you should see at the top of the page, two text boxes to change both Topic Title and Topic Description.

HTH.

Cheers,

Brian

Had some trouble with the decals. Mainly I think because I didn't get the surface smooth/glossy enough before putting them on. I used Vallejo acrylic gloss from the rattle can. Then I over-coated them with the same, and they started to lift and bubble. I think I have just about managed to salvage things, but it was looking very dodgy for a while

  • 2 weeks later...

Weathering has begun, I have a bit more to do yet

Please ignore the shadows - also I realise the flaps are set differently port vs starboard, but they're not fixed yet

Max, I'm with the others here, I just like the look of a

well weathered aircraft, and personally I think you have got

the finish on this one spot on. I hope mine turns out nearly

half as good.

Martyn.

Thanks for the nice comments Phil & Martyn, I appreciate it.

Can anyone give me some advice?

The canopy is a bit of a mess. I used Montex masks and some of the 'gummy' adhesive is stuck to the clear parts of the canopy. What would be a good cleaner to use - something that won't damage the clear parts or affect the paint?

Would isopropyl alcohol be OK?
