  1. Yep, very neat job, congratulations! I think your fit to the nacelles is better than I got with the kit parts
  2. Lovely looking 'pit Brian. The tubes in the inlets are a nice touch
  3. Thanks Chris - your two Mosquitos are looking great - hoping for another instalment from you soon
  4. Thanks Brian - I'm looking forward to seeing what Clyde and you come up with for the B-25
  5. Thanks Thomas - I will look out for 'Goo Gone' - For now I used Isopropyl alcohol. It damaged some of the green paint on the internal framing but I don't think its noticeable.
  6. Thanks for looking in guys - you're comments give me the motivation I need to get this finished
  7. I still have quite a bit to do before she's finished, but I couldn't wait any longer - I wired everything together to check the electronics was working OK. Just a reminder, all the clever stuff was done by Clyde Sasaki at Dynamic Scale Modelling. I need to make up a base to hide all the electronics and the speakers. Anyway, here's a video:
  8. Hi Tomek I just read through this whole thread and it is totally inspiring - I will be following this build from now on! Cheers Max
  9. Thanks for looking in Matt & Tomek
  10. That's great, thanks Phil I'll give it a go with the isopropyl
  11. Looking really good Phil - very nice work on the landing lights
  12. Thanks for the nice comments Phil & Martyn, I appreciate it. Can anyone give me some advice? The canopy is a bit of a mess. I used Montex masks and some of the 'gummy' adhesive is stuck to the clear parts of the canopy. What would be a good cleaner to use - something that won't damage the clear parts or affect the paint? Would isopropyl alcohol be OK?
  13. Thanks for looking guys :-)
  14. Weathering has begun, I have a bit more to do yet Please ignore the shadows - also I realise the flaps are set differently port vs starboard, but they're not fixed yet
