Jamme
Hello, Thank you for looking guy's and for the nice comments. For Kevin: The main surfaces are painted in XF-59, with highlights made with a little more white in the base color. For Big Matt: There is nothing special with how I take my pictures. I take them in RAW mode (Canon SLR 350D with a 50mm macro lens). I take the pictures on my workbench (not much place..... ) The lighting are my two desk lamps with economic lamps. When the pictures are made I change the lighting to "tungsten", with the Canon program I also use a photo stative (really important to have sharp pictures!) I hope this will help. For LSP Matt: Thank you and I hope to see your progress on your Ki-61. Once again thank you for looking. I' m busy for the moment with the building of the wings, and so on. Not much to show for the moment, but an UP soon. Greetings, Jamme

Jamme
Hello to everybody, First of all thanks to fastzx and Avro683 for their nice comments. There is indeed a big difference between the old Revell kits and today's Hasegawa models...... So as it rained all day yesterday, I had a little time to work, ......UP! It's a small UP I have to say. I build the landing legs and painted them: Also made the tail leg and painted it and the rims. When dry, I put the brake wires on the legs and fixed them. I also painted the rubber covers: When dry, I made a wash (mix of oilpaints) on all the parts. I also began the radiator, same job as above: I have to wait for the paint to dry so I can made a Drybrush, paint the tires and put the radiator together. Thank you for looking. Comments, critics and questions always welcome. Cheers Jamme
Jamme
Hello to everybody. Not so much people here for the moment....... (Everybody on hollyday, I guess....... ) I'm surprising myself with my building speed...... I find the Groupbuilds interesting. At least I wil (try to!) finish 2 models a year....that's nice! So here is a litlle UP. I finished and build the radiator: Tail wheel also finished: I paint the tires. I needs a drybrush on the rolling side. I began the airscrew, build, painted it with a coat of Modelmaster Aluminium. Polished it, put a coat of Gunze's Hobby Color H47 (Red Brown). Hasegawa gives N°131 in the Mr Color range. As we don't find the Mr Color range here in Belgium (not imported) I think this is the most aproching color for "propeller color". What do you think of it? When dry i put the decals on it. Here is the picture: I now have to put the airscrew on the side to let the decals dry overnight. I made different tris on the back to have a look on the best way to remove the brown paint to show the baremetal: Hope you like it, and that I will receive feedback, comments, or critics. Thank you all for looking. Jamme
