  7. Quite some time ago I had picked up a Revell P-51 and danced with the idea of a RCAF mustang from 403 squadron Calgary. 1953 to 1955 This aircraft was received from Burbank in 1950 and served with 424 Squadron until moved to 403 in 53. 150 mustangs were purchased and there were some changes made to them with the RCAF. majority were painted with an aluminum lacquer similar if not the same as airspeed silver used by the RAF,several were left nat. metal, majority of cockpits were flat black over the original green interiors which did wear quickly.many had the IFF transponders installed with the antennae tucked under the right wing, along with updated instruments in the panel..some new vents along the lower fus. and a list of other changes as equipment became available. These Canadian Ponies were used for training purposes, gunnery, bombing, navigation etc. A lot of the pilots who flew them went on to pilot the F-86 ,CF 100s,Voodoos,CF 105,and CF104s .. Had to look at a number of actual photos to get some kind of sense as to where and what we needed. Have just about finished the office, didn't add seatbelts as I plan to duplicate the pilot seated in it. First photo is what the target is...so off we go.
  8. Gorgeous as usual Miloslav....Lovely mottled Fus.
  9. Jack,Richard Thanks so much for the kind comments ,do appreciate it very much.
  10. Lovely...impressive paint work.and obviously in the right hands the kit still holds up well.

  13. Thanks so much for this.(was slightly worried)..Just to save face,I have enjoyed every one of the models purchased from Lukgraph.seriously, they are top on my go to list. And can't wait for what's to come....Keep up the great work.
  14. Well I had ordered mine in early Nov. as well and it hasn't even been mailed (shipped) yet...methinks a long wait ahead.
  15. Personally I don't care who owes whom,or what contortions WNW or Meng are going through. As long as sometime in the near future the WNW Lancaster's wings throw a shadow over my workbench. Having never looked forward to a kit release as much. It was as if someone had cancelled Christmas.
  16. Just getting back on my feet Maru...I'm going to be fine. Thanks for that.
  17. One of my favorite builds here on LSP...Remember feeling a bit Jelly Green.
