  1. Well Mal Sensational work mate! I have been taking notes on your engine. I have started my CMK resin one, but it still needs details added before paint. I will update in a couple of days my progress. It has been slow as the weather has been so nice I have been down at the hangar working on my plane rebuild....perfect weather for me to spray 2 pack paint! It seems to me looking at references that the cylinders were actually painted black whilst the US ones were aluminium? Keep up the great work my friend! But I wont let you catch me!! Cheers Anthony
  2. WOW Mike, great to hear from you!!! Also great to know you are a Brit and speak English! I was struggling a bit with Google translate. Absolutely, I would love to help you out in any way I can. I am getting a few bits cast for myself like new prop blades, rocket stubs as well as a few other items. I am working on new bomb bay doors at the moment, maybe they will be useful to you as well? Anyway I will send you a Private Message and we can chat. Welcome to the forum and thanks for making yourself known to me. Cheers Anthony
  3. Wow awesome start there Rich! I see another masterpiece appearing before my eyes Cheers Anthony
  4. Lol, yes mate it is coming, in fact I repainted the centre consul last week. Do you know where I can get teeny tiny stencilling?? Mirek, thank you mate! That is a great help to get me on my way! Cheers Anthony
  5. Ok gents, some quick questions I need help here.... This is a Mitsubishi built machine Firewall, Aotoke Blue ? Undercarriage bays =underside grey? Cowl interior? This was a land based machine, would it have had the well for the tailhook or faired over? Rear decking behind cockpit=Mitsi Black/blue colour? Flap bays=Aotoke Blue? Any answers to these questions would be awesome Cheers Anthony
  6. OK mate, you talked me into it! Looks like you will see some more Zeke action then Kev! No need to hurry Mal, you think you are slow.....errrrr have you seen when I started this thread! Lol this is just what I need to finish her up I feel. But I am warning you I am not fast either so don't panic Just getting her out of the cabinet now! Back with an update soon I hope. I just need to figure out where I am up to, what I have and what I need to finish etc... Cheers Anthony
  7. Wellllll I suppose I could make a big push and see if I could finish it along with your build. Might be just what I need to finish it?? Cheers Anthony
  8. Here you go Mal, I have updated my thread here with a quick snap of her in my cabinet.... http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=37036&page=2 I used 2 kits and my son built one up with the leftovers, I must say an A6M2 with -5 wings looked weird! He since proudly showed me the melted blob after he got hold of some fireworks! Oh dear... Anyway it was a fun conversion and I think should look good in the RNZAF surrender markings. Keep up the great work mate! Cheers Anthony
  9. Looking at Mals build I realised I had not updated this one in a long time. So I quickly snapped a pic of her in the cabinet to show she is about ready to paint. I have scratched a new firewall and inner u/c bits.....must finish this one day. Especially since the hard conversion work is now done and all the resin bits are in... Oh Plasticsurgeon, it is a Mitsubishi built plane Cheers Anthony EDIT: forgot to attach pic!
  10. Damn you Mal! Now I have seen how good this looks I will have to make one for my A6M3 conversion!!! Beautiful work Cheers Anthony
  11. Wow, this is going to be a great thread to watch. I have been working on my Auster T7 rebuild during these summer months and the Mossie has been slightly neglected. This should spur me on again! Cheers Anthony

  14. I see there is a pile of Paragon 24th Mossie bits on ebay at the moment. Our own Rich has them listed in the ebay link on this site. Now they are items that wont be coming back from what I have heard and they make a vast improvement on the kit IMHO Cheers Anthony
