  1. Here's a link for a tutorial I made a couple of years ago. https://mpminiatures.wordpress.com/2021/06/21/how-i-photograph-scale-models/ If you find that it is not clear in any part of it, please give me that feedback so I can improve it and make it as clear as possible. I hope you find it useful. Cheers
  2. Here are a few photos of my recently completed Bf-109 G-6/R-6, built using Revell's kit and Eduard's underwing cannon pods. Colours are from Vallejo's Model Air range. It was a fun project, so much so, that I already have a couple more 1:32 scale warbirds on my to build pile! Cheers
  3. Final stretch for the model's completion! I hope to share some photos of the completed model soon! Cheers
  4. A bit closer to completion! I still need to add a few details, some general grime (mainly around the engine) and exhaust residues. Cheers
  5. Impressive! The amount of detail work your adding to the model is inspiring! Cheers
  6. Quick update (not much progress, has free time for the hobby has been rare)! All panel lines were picked up using Ammo's PLW washes. And the underside got an airbrushed layer of dirtiness (very diluted XF-1 ), mainly around panel lines and other details. I hope to post more soon. Cheers
  7. What a fantastic project! Your work on it is just amazing! I'll stay tuned for the next update! Cheers
  8. Thank you all for your kind and encouraging words! My impression of the kit is quite different from yours! My impression is that if we take care to clean the flash present in some parts and do regular dry fits (making small adjustments with a file, if needed) before committing to using any glue everything goes together with barely using any filler! I guess I'm used to build shortrun kits that sometimes need half a tube of filler Weathering has started, starting with the lower fuselage. I hope to post more soon. Cheers
  9. Thank you all foe your kind comments. You're correct John. Ever since my brother shown up at home with a 1:2000 Bismarck model kit (after a visit to the supermarket with my parents), this "sickness" has been with me (I was around 12 at the time and this was almost 35 years ago). I usually fiddle with other scales and subjects, but this is my first 1:32 scale aircraft model (I already have a couple more in the to be built pile). Curiously, 1:144 scale has became my preferred scale for my general aircraft collection and I've been using larger scales just for particular projects. I hope to post some more photos soon. Cheers
  10. Thank you Nick! The "clips" were made using aluminum tape, cut in thin stripes. I think you can easily find it in hardware stores (it's used for sealing air ducts unions, as far as I'm aware). Cheers
  11. This is my first post in the forum and I'm sharing a few photos of one of the models presently at my workbench, my first 1:32 scale model ever, a Revell Bf 109 G-6. I've decided to try out this scale after years and years of being amazed by models in this scale. I could get my hands on this model at a very reasonable price and decided to give it a go! I'm only adding the canon gondolas from Eduard and the few other additions you can see are made from copper and solder wire, tin foil and aluminum tape. I hope to reach its completion soon and share a few more photos. Cheers
