  1. I often wondered if a CO2 tank could be used as in your set up. I have several that I've used for homemade soda along with when I was a homebrewer. This a very good idea.
  2. I did have a Cox airplane that I got for my birthday in the late 1960s. Because I didn't know what I was doing, I burnt up the starter coil or something like that. This kit was a static model from what I remember, and it was a big airplane. At that time I was a busboy and put my paycheck in the bank as per my parent's instruction. The tips were my spending money. I bought this kit because the "The Blue Max" movie left a deep impression on me. Also, over the years I searched the internet for this plane kit with no results but I discovered this website. Needless to say, I've spent hours reading and admiring the photographs of this wonderful hobby. Thanks to everyone for their help.
  3. Greetings to all, I 've enjoyed everything about this site. It brought back a lot of memories when I was a young man. Sadly, as time went on those planes that I built are long gone. This site has photos of some of similar planes that I put together as a kid. Back in late 1969 or 1970, I bought a large Fokker Dr. I kit from a local hobby store. This kit was very large, and the wingspan could have been 12" or larger. Also, it was molded in red plastic and was put together with small screws and had decals applied after it was built. I put it on my desk and left it there to admire. I don't know what happened to it, because I just can't remember. If someone could help me, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you, Kelsey
