  2. This week's update ... a bit earlier given BFCM ... and to give you sufficient heads up … whereas everybody else seems to speak Black Friday (nowadays even Black Week ... what's next Black Month, Black Year) ... we'd rather speak Baron's Last Sunset (could be Friday, Saturday … some artistic freedom granted … given that fateful April 21,1918 was a Sunday) … whereas everybody else seems to embark on an uninspiring discount circus ... we'll do our part ... 10% on the entire range (applicable as of now until Monday 23:59 Central European Time and automatically applied at checkout) ... but we'd rather embark on a Flying Circus ... with engaging Baron inspired offers. Stay tuned as they come on-line in the coming days! Piece de resistance … a limited edition hardtop mousepad depicting the Baron's Last sunset ... of the high quality type ... featuring indestructible under-surface printing combined with a thick non-slip foam base .... not some thin piece of junk. Complementary for orders above 150€ And yes … for the connoisseurs … the scene is Steve Anderson’s gorgeous painting … acclaimed Wingnut Wings box artist … who was so kind and enthusiastic to give this initiative a well-meant go-ahead. … and who knows … we might extend this to other works. https://www.aviattic.com Enjoy the weekend … with a WWI twist!
  3. This week's update ... midweek this time as Friday @ Telford ... we felt ... you might really fancy ... Modelkasten joining the Aviattic line-up, becoming pretty comprehensive with more than 1000 products to serve you WWI aviation modellers. Simple the best stretch rigging wire available in two sizes, 0.6 for 1/48 and 1.5 for 1/32 and a perfect complement to available turnbuckles. Available for preorder here (shipping in 2-3 weeks) https://www.aviattic.com/collections/modelkasten Other updates: Pheon 2nd batch came in today: this means bye-bye to the ubiquitous placeholder Pheonix image, as we will be steadily replacing with the real visuals and descriptions, so that you don't need to look up on Scalemates anymore. Maybe one last chance to have a look at the placeholder Pheonix. This means we will start shipping the remaining pre-orders for which you will receive a fulfillment notice. One caveat though: for some we are out of some glossies (32038 - 32021). None of Sabine's 7 printers are working anymore, so we will be looking for a solution soon, and for those who have preordered, will contact you. Stay tuned! Pheon DH.9 spoked wheels: a last batch of 15 came in. Gone is gone. HGW is now also complete, a comprehensive assortment for all applicable WWI aircraft, both in 1/32 but now also 1/48 Telford here we come. All of you that have placed orders. They are packed and set aside. No check-in luggage this time, so pretty sure to arrive.

Strutter & Pheon contest ... outcome this Friday (small updated to the rules ... for the better ... there will be always a winner ... as in ... the closest to the exact number wins) Happy Halloween!
  5. Look what’s here ... some precious goodies ... lost and found ... 1 of them in sneak preview fashion A few unexpected surprises among the first batch (*) … mostly just 1 … probably fruit of accidental discovery. It could very well be … we might discover some more … during the November visit … but for the time being that’s it. Given those time zone differences … in equal opportunity provider style … we will post them up later today … @ 23:30 CET (Central European Time) to be precise (a good test if our platform stands the test of traffic). The time slot may not be perfect for everybody … but there is just no way to find the optimum one. Oh and one more thing … or better clue: they are posted as Easter Eggs … or in this case October Eggs … spare yourself typing in some egg like search term for fast tracking … and objects may not appear as they are ... such as in expected places for one. Good things are worth looking for ;-) When the home page has been switched to the attached visual ... a sign they are available on www.aviattic.com Happy hunting! (*) if some of you have not seen a fulfillment notice yet on your orders, second batch of Pheon sets is expected somewhere by the end of next week.
  6. We felt you might like this ... Pheon Decals joins the Aviattic.com line-up Inspired not only by concern that it would be sad to see it disappear for early aviation modelers … but also by way of tribute to Rowan Broadbent and to continue his legacy ... something he has been passionate about all his life despite medical grievance. Over the last months we have been working with Sabine to arrange sth she feels comfortable with so we are happy to have her blessing. Starting now, all sets which are not out-of-production are available for preorder and October dispatch. That’s close to 60 SKUs (31 1/32s, 22 1/48s and 6 1/72s). Whereas Sabine still needs to confirm actual quantities, I know that for some of them there were only a few left. An opportunity to grab your chance. Available here https://bit.ly/pheon-is-back Further and beyond, we will also be looking at options for reprinting the OOPs although that’s not a guarantee nor a promise. (yes yes, I know … those Belgian Camels ;-))
