  1. Might you perhaps consider some P-38J/L's from the PTO? Kagero did some as part of their TopColour range but they're unavailable and almost impossible to find
  2. SuperHobby and SprueBrothers have the repopped KH kits now, at least the majority of them
  3. Hopefully it comes out. Trumpeter sometimes will publish things in their catalogues as a means of scaring off competition. Example being their 1/350 HMS Nelson and Rodney which were annnounced 4-5 years ago and still haven't shown up
  4. OH!...another wish A Super Etendard/ SEM and a Mystere/Super Mystere.
  5. Yeah Red Pill Models. Their -B looks promising so far
  6. New tool 1/32 F-4E, both hard and slat wing.
  7. I've been a SB customer for 15 years and you'll have my business, much rather do SB anyway.
  8. Squadron has seemingly *all* of the 1/32 and 1/48 Kitthawks up for pre-order with a pending delivery in the next month. I reached out to Squadron but got no reply, but some of their delivery terminology has changed from "expected 1/31" to "tenative 1/31" so I'm a little gun shy pulling the trigger on something that is seemingly iffy, like the 1/32 Mirage 2000C and D/N.
  9. True, ever since 2020 my sense of time is completely out of whack
  10. I genuinely am baffled by some of Tamiyas business decisions, especially related to 1/32 scale stuff. I know it's expensive to produce and can be risky..but Trumpeter and HKM don't seem to be too put off from cranking out some 1/32 jets with fairly impressive frequency..yet some absolute money printers are just left on the table with Tamiya.. A new tool 1/32 F-14? Super Hornet? Ah well. Yes, a "Omni-Viper" kit would be great.
  11. StormFactory is doing their F-5's https://www.scalemates.com/kits/storm-factory-32002-us-navy-vf111-sundowners-f-5f-tiger-ii--1463664
  12. I do hope before too long someone repops the Mirage 2000C and 2000D/N. Its frustrating that only at the very end did Kitty Hawk really take off
  13. I’m just going off of MSRP, so the Tamiya Spit is about $160 these days. Yeah you can get it less on eBay, but I was just using MSRP as a fair benchmark
  14. A WNW quality Spit V, IX and XIV that slots in price between the Revell and Tamiya kits wouldn't exactly break my heart.
  15. Hey all, I know, I know..."another Tamiya Spit"..but hey, it is what it is. This is my first serious large scale build, having previously been an exclusive 1/48 guy. Doing A IXe from 442 sqn, RCAF, specifically Y2K (MK304). Fairly well known Spit, but I wanted to do something than JEJ's or Pierre Clostermanns, etc. Using Tamiya so far, namely XF-71 for the cockpit green. I know it's not an exact match, but I intend to come in with some AB502 oils and pigments which will skew the color tone off normal anyway, so I figured I'd use what I had on hand and I knew would play well given our local weather conditions. Used the BarracudaCast remote contactor box and AceMaker gyro junction box. Planning on keeping the crew door shut but the canopy lid removable, so there won't be a ton of visibility in it, but enough. Unfortunately this is where this build ended...a garage accident resulted in this kit and several others being destroyed. Such is life.
  16. It's interesting that they say they have no plans for anything other than a C wing, yet the parts break down seems clear to allow for an E Wing also..
  17. That really looks fantastic! What colors did you use in the marbling and weathering of this? Did you base the XF-62 with something or do any sandwich shading?
  18. I've built their new 1/32 P-51D Early and FW-190A8 and both were outstanding kits So it's hardly an absolute
