  1. Apologies for coming in late on this one gentleman but just wondering how the surface detail on this a-4 compares with Hasegawa’s naughties releases? thanks, yours hopefully
  2. You can bust out of the cone of shame but ne’er the snood
  3. Great photos. Who cares about hair landing on your model when you’ve got so many furry friends
  4. Yes I had a stab at the date looking at the computer. What a great companion
  5. Yikes can’t imagine what the interior looks like…pass
  6. Nice photo - great spot- early 2000’s? Good cat who isn’t paws on and inquisitive…
  7. Absolutely! at some time it would be great if Kotarenuts or ZM re visited the Hasegawa ki43 or ki84 - The Hase ki84 is a nice kit but some updated surface detail (Kotare) or interior details (ZM) would be good. It’s a nice looking bird and should be room in the modelling bush for another. Anyway ki100s good move for now- bring ‘em on with a Mustang B,C or 111 simplified as well if possible
  8. It is John I can feel it in my waters- or is that the pressure from the prostate
  9. I think a Beaufighter would fall into that category- of big hitter
  10. Interesting I was looking under the lid at the J model today. I hesitated for ages getting one due to the criticisms. But if you can overlook the turrets, engines and wing shortfalls It’s ok. Just the fuselage size is bloody impressive. Surface detail ok and it looks like an ok build. The price is good out of the box. Mine came without messed up turrets which was a relief. But still how to fix the seam? If someone brings out aftermarket for engines and turrets I’ll get it. Also I noted canopy windows are closed would have been nice for open option. Anyway up to you but I changed my mind in hand for the price it’s ok. And no one else is going to bring it out I guess. FYI a 1/48 version is supposedly coming out from them- so wait and see the issues might ( might) get fixed happy modelling
  11. Twirling wallpaper- nice schemes thumbs up emoji
  12. Maybe they should all get together and draw straws !
  13. I’d like to see these markings in ‘basic’
  14. Also the old black and white photos and editing accentuates light and dark
  15. Don’t know if it was me, which it isn’t, I’d do a HD1 because if you’re going to make something do one people will want and will buy a few of. Then do a more obscure one. Though I applaud recent efforts from CSM etc - truly amazing kits. Id like to see CSM or Kotare have a go at a new tooled SPAD vii or Albatros Diii, but I feel a bit uncomfortable with that out of respect for Roden, but it would be nice
  16. I hope Richard can get a return on this. I’m a bit baffled why none of the current manus don’t put out a Hanriot HD1 - simple fighter with lots of service and marking options. More interest and maybe modellers could make the reach financially. Just saying.
  17. So if someone wanted to pop out some WNW kits that could turn a profit (like Fokker D7) what options are there? Buy or rent them off Peter Jackson or reverse engineer? (Assuming we are talking about a place that doesn’t care about IP) Maybe he has put the whole venture on ice for 5-10 years?
  18. I would much rather they’d put efforts into releasing other kits including Handley Page. Such a shame. We can assume there will be no more of a start up with WW1 kits from NZ but there are now other options for those who enjoy the canvas, wire and castor oil birds
  19. Hi Good question. I wonder which company would take this on as well.
  20. Thanks mate yeah maybe the Lysander will be the risky no5. With 109 in the first 4. The other 2 anyone’s guess. Just good to sit back and watch what comes next
  21. Wow interesting. Well Matchbox did an early 109 and Lysander in 1/32 both of which I’d be up for. ( Tho the re released Dragon 109 ain’t bad ) Just saying. Richard if you’re reading this…?
  22. I hate to say never but I don’t think this will ever be re-released
  23. Oh dear will the roller coaster ever end?!
  24. Don’t condone scalping but eBay takes it cut of any sales and with other overheads and time spent sometimes selling on eBay is also a mug’s game
