Well PJ has just sold Weta Digital for $1.6bn - maybe he’s done that so he can afford to buy two of the Border Lancs…

Simple, really. PJ has no love for the Dr.I - apparently the only reason it was getting kitted was because the WNW staff persueded him to do it because of all the requests they were getting (and maybe they realised that a Dr.I was going to sell better than the Gotha G.I, and thus fill the coffers up...) The Lancaster is another matter. This was PJ's personal project of his all-time favourite aircraft - a labour of love ten years in the making. He's notorious for not allowing others to benefit off his work (he has the sets and most of the props from his movies destroyed so they can't be used again), so it's no surprise he's throwing his toys out of the pram over the Lanc.

So thirteen pages in and we've learned...absolutely nothing new.

That, my friend, is par for the course.

Interesting, but it's definitely using the Il-2 PC game damage model there. I recognise that damage to an Il-2 at 0:48 and 1:18! Also not sure about the fire moving towards the Bf-109 at 1:06, that rather seems to be defying the laws of physics...

Those sound like great ideas. Yahu are making a panel for the Azur 1/32 Caudron c.714 so they’re not afraid of doing panels for limited run kits.

The good news for them is they will sell quite a few. The good news for me is that I'll be saving money instead of buying another kit.
