Adding weight to the tires........ 360 grit glued to 1/4 inch foam and wet sand them down both at the same time.
Three words guaranteed to humiliate men anywhere and everywhere........ "Hold my purse".
Thankyou Ralph D and Rafju
Thanks everyone!! Lather, rinse, repeat

Hi y'all,
Thanks Loic!
With my micro chisel I got the wing fairings to fit reasonably well.
With the chisel in position, I rock it from side to side to create a 'sawing' action, while still pressing down slightly. And finish the edge with a micro file.

Hi, it's me again,
After cleaning with dish soap and a artist brush to get into nooks and crannies it looks better.......
The cockpit floor is in and the wing is on so, this little bugger has to be shaped.....

You can see the scars from the throttle redo, and of course it really doesn't look much better than it did before said redo.
There is a missing something here, I'll let it go.
Thanks to MWHM's, I lost track of you for awhile! Also thankyou Harv, and Teresa! Lather, rinse, repeat.

Hi y'all,
Thankyou Ironwing, Is it possible to 'overdose' on mustangs? I don't think so!
Thanks J. Rutman, comming from a master like you sure does a guy good.
And Maru, please, no apology required!! Thanks for your moral support!!
In my effort to get out of the pits, (cockpits) and into the light, anything that needs to be added to the pits will be put in from the top.
i.e.(that is) I need to close/install the floor assembly so I can finish the last major alteration.

Will try and add these to the pedals
This is the aft center pedestal, used a sharpie (magic marker) to make the crt screen. Not a very good job there.
I have enough money to last the rest of my life......... unless I buy something.

Hi y'all,
I've got three builds here on LSP and they will be built..... But again, am I worried? No, we don't sweat the small stuff.
The aft rudder pedal bar in place
Added a brace across the top of the pedals
We won't be able to see much of the aft rudder pedals........

Essentially, I'm just swapping the fuselage fuel tank with a merlin. It would be like flying constantly with a full fuel tank.(you just limit
the violent maneuvering) The center of gravity would be slightly aft. Also, the prop blades would have to be reversed, and I would'nt need a spinner on the aft one.
This is just to show you the engineering so far. We will do lots more wind tunnel testing. For instance, should both propellers turn in the same direction?
This is going to be fun. Cake and ice cream for every one!!

Hi y'all.
Hardcore, Prancin' Nance II would be too much of an airplane for the USAAF, probably racer livery.
Starting with the Trumpy fuselage, my cut line is between 1/32 and 1/16 of an inch away from the edge line and then I can 'sneak up' on the actual edge.
Removing the wing fairing

Prancin' Nance II will need a 'floating tail', that is, a stabilon, an all moving horizontal control surface. With hydraulic boost. Indulge me please, after all, this is supposed
to be fun isn't it?
I glued the horizontal stab to the elevator and sanded the trailing edge to something acceptable,(the left one is sanded)
I used a rivet line on the horizontal tail to make a line 90 degrees to the inboard end, then used that line to stick them to double sided tape making sure there at 90 degrees,
then started a 'pilot' hole with a pin vise, and then drilled the hole with the drill press. The dremel will melt some plastic, even on as slow as it will go so I drill very fast.

Real one? Do you have a picture of a 'H' airframe with a Griffon up front? That's a 'D' airframe.
This is a 'H' airframe.........

I'm using two pieces of bass wood held together with double sided tape, maximum fuselage width, 36" or 1.125" in 32nd scale.( 1 inch of real airplane = 1/32 of my pony)
Thanks to Harold, XMH53, Vandy, Tnarg and my quality control managers, Harvey and MD Jack. Thank you!
Thanks everyone!
