  1. Hi Matt, the decals are from Eagle Cals EC#106
  2. Shelf of doom resident for some time, finally found some decals I liked that weren't NMF. Not much to say about the build, pretty straight forward. Painted exclusively with Tamiya acrylics except for the clear coats (automotive acrylic thinned with gp thinner) and the flat coat which is Testors Dullcoat. Weathered with oils and sharp Derwent coloured pencils. Thanks for looking, Cheers Bevan
  3. Yep looking nice and used........ is that a map on the instrument panel? Cheers Bevan....(Who's trying to find time to paint a 1/48 262)he he!
  4. Thanks Kevin. Yep you can publish this one as well...................cheers Bevan
  5. Thanks Kevin the article looks great, hopefully this will be at Expo at Sandown this year.
  6. Hi Guy's this one was finished a while ago as a commission for a guy in the USA. Paints used are Gunze acrylics thinned with gp thinner.Weathering achieved with oils and pastels.Scratches, scuffs done with very sharp Derwent colour pencils as well as 2b grey lead. Also tried water colour pencils-prisma colour for selected oil and fuel stains.Decals used are from Eagle Strike, Eagle Parts resin spinner as well as fully riveted. Hope you enjoy the pics cheers Bevan
  7. Very nice work on a not often seen scheme. Inspiring work. Great wip as well. Cheers Bevan.
  8. Hi Mal, glad you like the D9. A length of fuse wire was used. I made a loop about half way along its length and then continued coiling that half around the rest of the length. So what you end up with is a loop, coils and a length of wire hanging out of the coils which I made into a hook to attach to the aerial mast. Hope this helps Cheers Bevan
  9. Thanks Alain. For reference I used Japo's volume 2 Focke Wulf Fw 190D camouflage and markings, I liked the profiles better than the ones of the same aircraft in Jerry Crandall's book although his are still very nice indeed. Cheers Bevan
  10. Thankyou Kevin, paints used were mainly Gunze acrylics but also some Tamiya for some custom mix's. I tend to fight my airbrush every time I use it so there is usually some rubbing to get a finer demarcation between colours. By all means, publish away! Cheers Bevan
  11. Hi guy's been a lurker for ages and thought I'd post some pics of my latest build. I'm a fairly slow builder averaging between 2-3 32nd scale kits a year, so here we go........ Hasegawa's d9 built from the box. I added rivets, extra plumbing to the engine, seat belts from lead wire, brass tubing gun barrels and invisible mending thread for the antenna wire. Happy with the results although the photos could do with some work!! Thanks for looking cheers Bevan Link to the build thread http://forum.largesc...-132-fw-190-d9/
  12. Great work going on here, looking foward to seeing more. Cheers Bevan
  13. Very nice! What mix did you use for the "RLM 84" Cheers Bevan
  14. That is really just amazing, where did you find this unique scheme? LOVE it, cheers Bevan
