  1. Matt, The Le Prieur Rockets are available in All the Amodel Nieuport 11/16 boxings, as well. . .
  2. I just wish I had purchased the various Spada and fcm Spad XIII sheets when they were still in production! :-(
  3. Might it be possible to perform said wing mods on a 21st Century Toys A6M3 Mod 22?? Just a thought. . .
  4. If by '60s you mean Aurora releases, there's the DH-10A, Breguet XIV, Albatros C. III, Halberstadt CL. II, and Curtiss JN-4.
  5. Has Hasegawa produced a new 5c solely as a canvas for Tanimizu's kill markings?? I'd be much more ready to part with my Hobby $ on a reissued P-40K/N than anything IJA/IJN. . . Rob
  6. Unlike their MiG counterparts, the Sukhoi Delta-wings served only in the PVO (air-defense forces), not the VVS (frontal aviation), and therefore were not exported to foreign clients. This accounts for their relative obscurity among aviation & modeling enthusiasts. Now, when are we going to see your build of that Takom Whippet??? At 1/35 it certainly counts as "Large Scale"!!
  7. Jadlamracing and Wonderland in the UK sometimes has some great deals but, sadly, we're seldom treated to the same big deals as North Americans. Tony Nor do we (US, al least) get hit with Import Duties, VAT, and "Package Delivery Ransom" that others must contend with. THAT would drop my modeling budget to a couple of kits per year!
  8. Hoping someone (Pheon??) will produce decals for Belgian (especially Olieslagers' Sk 7) Camels. I neglected to order/hoard the Spada sheets when they were available. . .
  9. Sorry, but IMHO cost/profit margins work against the possibility of 1/32 pre-WWI aircraft kits seeing the light of day. . . even WnW isn't going to be going there in a hurry, since Sir Peter's list of potential WWI subjects isn't even CLOSE to exhausted, and even with HIS deep pockets, the cost of WnW kits has risen. But even my prediction might be off, should 3D printing replace metal molds as a source of kit parts.
  10. Tom's did a 1/28 German Interior PE set and a German Guns set, and Copper State Models a 1/28 Dr.I (mostly exterior details) set, but I've never heard of nor seen any resin bits offered. Quick internet check shows Tom's sets still available & Copper State stuff "Coming Soon" from their respective websites. . .
  11. If your "bodywork" involves extensive contour changes, you might consider "Supafilla." Mix medium viscosity superglue with with an approximately equal mass of TALCUM powder (NOT CORN STARCH OR BAKING SODA). The resulting substance sands easily to a smooth finish & feathers well, is readily scribed, dries quickly (you don't have to wait for it to "gas out"), and DOES NOT SHRINK (be careful not to apply more than necessary). Auto modelers first concocted it years ago to do custom bodywork. Since it contains no solvents, you don't have to worry about softened or distorted polystyrene underneath it, and unlike straight superglue or superglue+baking soda, it doesn't get harder the longer it cures: you can sand it as easily after 15 days as 15 minutes. Best of all. . . it's cheap!! Rob
