Glenn R Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Hi All, Here's my latest effort, the Combat Models 1/32 vac-form Skyraider converted to a Royal Navy AEW.1 The radome and hump behind the cockpit were vac-formed and the finlets are plasticard. This is not a great kit, but is the only one in town in 1/32 scale as the Panther Productions model is no longer available. Hope you like it. Regards, Glenn
LSP_Kevin Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 I'm not a big Skyraider fan, but that's another wonderful build Glenn. Congrats! Kev
abledog5 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Great looking, you did a nice job. I love all the Skyraiders, I have to do one of those my self. How did you mold the rador dome under the plane? John

maverick728470 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Glenn, Great looking skyraider and u know u'er vacs.Larry
ssculptor Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 I just love aeroplanes with goiters. There was one on an Avenger at one time. Heck, I'm still in awe of the idea that any of these heavy contraptions can actually get off the ground and fly in the first place. By the way, that is a very well done vacuform model. Good work! Stephen
Jack Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Glenn, you just did the kit justice, it's a very nice model, congrats. J
Spads57 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Glen, Outstanding Spad my friend.Excellent project Regards, Gregory Jouette
bcauchi Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Fantastic work Glen apart from the fact that it is not something we usually see in our scale, it looks absolutely great.
