MikeMaben
Thanks alot guys. They're just flat pieces of 3/4" white pine cut to shape then run by a small table router for the edge trim. I varnished them first then attached the applique with a thin coat of Elmer's white glue. The appliques were printed on a inkjet printer. A 3/8" acrylic rod boiled in a shallow frying pan and bent around a jar. The first one I did was the cross which is made up of 4 plinth blocks (found at home depot or the like) with a 90 angle cut at the ends. Pretty simple. The only power tools needed are the table router and a hand drill for the hole. Variations on the theme are many.
