Gazzas
Now that is cool! One would hardly believe that under those smooth curves and crisp lines lies some heavily cut and gouged plastic. Fantastic transformation! Gaz F`s are my favs

F`s are my favs
Thank you gents! I'm finishing the masking now and indeed i think that now i figured it out about what is all about the namesake of this bird - the spider. The combo of RAMs along all the leading/trailing edges. Here is the look when they are a little more contrasting than the rest of the plane: Shawn M, Gazzas, Hubert Boillot and 1 other

F`s are my favs
Now the "patchwork", the rivet lines, a pin wash, and polishing are following... I cut the templates out of a paper sheet and here is the "white" coat just freshly sprayed: And the camo is on. The colors are absolutely homemade - i tried to replicate the Raptor camo and yet i mostly adjusted them to my taste. Here i tried to get the glare of the Have glass on a direct daylight: And on these i tried to capture the shine when the sunlight beats down from 1 direction. I think i'm happy with the result and actually this is my first successful camo of this type, which is my favorite indeed. Squizzy 78
It's a shame that the f-23 never went into production, because looking at this it looks so awesome! Shawn M and F`s are my favs
F`s are my favs
The painting and the pre-weathering are done. This beauty turned out quite insane after removing the masks for the RAMs of the leading/trailing edges. But first, some pics after riveting and pinwash: Uilleann and Shawn M
