alaninaustria
Hello everybody - has anybody else started this conversion? Were there any decals created for W.Nr. 170083? Cheers Alan

Were there any decals created for W.Nr. 170083? While I haven't actually started my conversions yet, I did just check my 2 unmolested sets and they both have decals for V083. But, only the "V083" in white, and the W.Nr. stencil "170083" in black. That's all - no "Wilma Jeanne" or any other markings. So, those decals were part of the deal at some point. By the way, has anyone saved the images and text from the Tiger Models page that are now missing? Sure could use that info... alaninaustria
Interesting Darin, I had no idea there were decals available for this conversion... mine never came with decals and unfortunately I never saw the text/images at the Tiger Models site before it went down. The conversion is rather straight forward - however I decided to build my own gear bay as the “stepped” structure of the old Revell part did not appeal to me. D Bellis
The images and info that Tiger Model had posted were quite nice showing where all the little door hinge and actuator parts went. No biggie, just inconvenient. Got plenty of good '262 books and images on the 'net to reference when the time comes...
